It's not like he is wrong. People keep preaching about consuming groceries aber their "best before" date to reduce food waste. And -literally- everybody reheats leftovers from time to time. Not fresh doesn't equal bad. But what Sammy doesnt understand is that he needs to have a higher quality control in an food service establishment. Frozen things aren't bad, but they aren't up to standard given that you pay a premium price if you are eating out.

Honestly, gotta give a lot of credit to the customers in this episode. They were very polite to the staff, outside of Sammy, for obvious reasons. Even the microwave lady was saying please and thank you to the server, and only got confrontational with the owner. That one guy shook the server's hand and acknowledged that it wasn't his fault. It's small things, but customer service work like this can be absolutely draining, trust me I've worked a couple of those jobs. Those little things mean a lot to the staff and you don't see as much of it as you should. A customer may always be right in the customer-service industry, but that does not give them the excuse to be dicks about it, and I was very happy to see the maturity of the customers. It's clearly a very tight-knit community with some great people, Sammy was the cancer, not them. Also gotta appreciate the energy of the woman at 28:41, she kept the little girl next to her smiling and even though she'd been waiting a while, she kept a positive energy.

Update, this episode was filmed in November, shorty after airing this episode Sammy took several Christmas reservations for corporate parties. The corporations left credit card numbers as deposits for the large bookings. Poor Sammy charged up thousands of dollars on these cards knowing full well he was shutting the doors to his restaurant before Christmas. The buildings owner had not received past rent and evicted Sammy, Sammy then entered the restaurant smashing the place up $20,000 damages. He was charged with several accounts of fraud etc, etc, etc,

Because work personality does not equal private life personality. When I was younger working in retail I used to think this about half the couples coming in.
