Around 2007 or 8 I was in a Gamestop, Back when they used to test systems by plugging them into RCA Jacks on the front counter, and it would put them on the main TV in the store... A guy brought an Xbox in to trade, and the employee plugged it in, It was a modded console, and the first thing to pop up was a closeup of a naked woman that was spread eagle... The employee ripped the cords out of the desk plugs, and basically threw the console at the guy, and told him to never come back. The worst part is there were several families shopping in the store. After the guy left, the employee told me that he was used to getting modded consoles, but none that booted straight to porn. He said the funniest one he got was a dude that thought he should get the trade in value of every game he had ripped to his modded hard drive. I went back a week later, and they had a small tv behind the counter to test systems on.

Or you just swap in another disk drive. They're not locked to the console. But it's not really worth it, considering the overall condition and how much Jacob would need to do to be able to sell it (like, make sure that EVERY LAST bit of XXX-rated stuff is removed, or he could get into massive troube).

It's not the hdd. It's the bent drive. The Xbox claims it's open, so my guess is that the tray is stuck because of the bending and there's also probably a (very messed up) disk inside.
