First thing you need to know is, high mileage euros are some of the absolute cheapest but cleanest looking cars you can buy. So with that in mind. Stop looking at some Euros as a sign of wealth.

The meaning is--->To live below your means is to never spend more than your total earnings. You're successfully living below your means if you make more money from your job and other income than you pay toward expenses. That said, living below your means doesn't require sacrificing what you enjoy.

@shanks7603 ай бұрын
It is budgeting yourself, in order to have the things you want, if u talk " investment" no a car isnt an investment, its a tool/luxury, but the dude works for what he wants and made the choice to drive a bmw rather than a honda

I had multiple trainers and I didn’t ask much because I know guys don’t like training if they don’t get paid extra for it. But I had about like five or six trainers and a couple days I was used as an extra to help a few people. But I watched the different styles of work habits from each one. The biggest thing is orginizing and keeping it clean. The way you stack your stack is another small factor but it doesn’t need to be big daddy stacks like some people do. I’m getting released this week at PFG. I can’t wait for the time to pass and get up in seniority list
@imanthonytv3 ай бұрын
I agree. Emphasis on it doesn’t have to be a big daddy stack. 😂

Most people can’t afford those cars though let be honest they can afford the ludicrous payments they’re making on a car that probably won’t ever see over 100k miles. No one’s walking into BMW and buying them cars with cash instead they’re bending over and letting Wells Fargo take them for a ride. I can see the argument for a mortgage as that’s an appreciating asset but on a car I just don’t get it and can see why everyone is so wound up in debt 🤷🏻♂️ honestly each to their own let’s just all keep it positive and learn from one another and respect each others journey. People might look at my $3000 POS I bought three years ago when I moved to the US and laugh but the high income from trucking and a car that costs me $400 a year in maintenance has gave me the ability to max out all my tax advantaged accounts and stack silver and gold like a pirate! Thank you for the content’s Anthony! Stay blessed

You can never listen to those fools, most of them are just jealous or too lazy that they don't have the hustle or grinding like you are. Even though, your finances aren't anyone's business anyway. They be pissed if you were being nosey to them, and they know it. You got the money and the knowledge to save and invest, that's all that matters.

Let make myself clear. First, I never knew Anthony drove a BMW. Seocod, I didn't mean to come off as a douche bag. I met too many people who drive luxury cars, and complain they can't afford the repair bills. Third, I believe in paying CASH for cars, and not putting myself in debt to afford a luxury car. If I can't afford to buy a luxury car in cash, I have to get my money up. I don't care how other people spend their money. Here is a Quora thread to prove my point about BMW reliability: "Are BMW cars actually unreliable? How much does it cost to maintain a BMW after 4-5 years? BMWs are very reliable, but as a high performance vehicle, require more regular and more consistent maintenance. If you are going to buy a 4-5 year old BMW, the first thing I’d ask is if the cooling system has been overhauled. Cooling systems just wear out around the five year mark and typically require replacement of all the hoses, the radiator, the coolant pump and thermostat. For a 3 series, this will cost you around $1,200.00 in parts. If you aren’t doing it yourself, then get a quote from the stealer, er-r-r-r I mean dealer. It’s a tough job on a 3 series. Easier on a 5 series. You will also need a new battery, but be aware; more recent models require a software recalibration of the voltage levels, which requires an expensive scanner. You can get the dealer to do this, but not for free. The next things to go will be the coil packs (expensive, but easily replaced by owner) and spark plugs (cheap). You’ll be amazed how how good the engine sounds and runs. Then you’ll need to replace the various engine sensors. These generally average about 100 dollar each, some less, some more. There aren’t very many, and they are installed very easily. What isn’t easy (specifically for the 3-series) is getting at them. For example, the crank sensor on an e90 is under the starter, which is under the intake assembly. You will need to remove the entire intake assembly to get to the starter, which you must also remove to get to a sensor that is held in with one bolt. When and if you replace the starter (yeah, that happened, but usually when the car gets to the decade mark…), replace the sensor. You don’t want to have to do this procedure twice. Then there are shocks and wheel bearings, depending on how hard the car has been driven. Another grand for the whole car. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, flushing the transmission should be done immediately! Bimmers have complex transmissions and while BMW refers to the transmission fluid as ‘life-time’, it’s bull (that goes for all makes). If you want to drive your bimmer for more than 150,000 miles, change out the fluid and filter every 40K. If you buy a used one and this hasn’t been done, do it right away. It’s relatively cheap. Do all this, and the car will drive like new for another five years, after which you can decide to repeat the process or just move on… In my opinion, used BMWs are a bad investment if you are just looking for a daily driver. You may look cool, but you will pay exorbitantly for the privilege. On the other hand, if you have the skills and can get one for say, 8-12K, another 3K in parts with some sweat equity, and you’ll have a nice hobby car. I still have my 2002 530i (purchased new…), whose transmission I’m currently rebuilding. It will never be a daily driver again, but I’m emotionally attached to it and when it hits its second decade, it will officially be a classic ;-) My wife’s 3-series is slated to be sold (update-is sold). I’ve done much of the work I’ve described above on this vehicle. Fun car to drive, but I’d never buy another one. She now drives a late model Honda and I’ve moved onto a Ford F150. Quite honestly, the only people who should buy a BMW are those folks for which a 100K is lunch money. For people who actually have to manage their financial life, it’s not a wise purchase. ADDENDUM: The issue of reliability has come up a few times with respect to this answer. Reliability is more related to predictable performance than it is to never breaks. Low profile, speed-rated tires will wear out faster because the design favors a certain operative performance over durability. Things are going to wear out on a BMW than on a Ford F-150 for the same reasons. BMWs wear-out in predictable ways, which means that with proper maintenance, they can be kept running and enjoyed for what they are." I'm also a single truck driver with no kids with only two years of experience, and gross $70,000 last year. The money I make only goes to bills and myself. I did not mean to come off as a douche bag.

Owning or Leasing a BMW has nothing to do with living above or below your means. Only way one can determine if are living below or above your means is if they see the intricacies of your finances first before to make such outlandish conclusions. It’s very subjective. He’s a hater.
