@@diegox.longpips Yes, I've been playing with long pips OX for one year, still learning. So far I used DMS Spectre, which is quite effective in the base game, but I want to learn active hitting as well and Spectre is not very good at it. So I switched to Troublemaker, it is said to be more suitable for active pips play. In the summer I might try Hellfire X, but in this tournament season I'd like to get experience with TM.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I’m happy to know that there is more pips lovers around. I have never tried Trouble Maker, but I’m now using Hellfire X and I have to say that I’m super happy with the result. Soon I will share some match in my channel with those pips. Actually yesterday I shared a video in my channel about why I chose Hellfire X as my next rubber. I did it in a fun way, maybe you can find interesting information there. Regards

Thank you for the beautiful video. But why should I hit the ball right after the bounce and not later? And when doing a chop block, should I keep the bat straight and tilt it when hitting? And will there be a chop when I play like this at the table?
@diegox.longpips
@diegox.longpips 3 күн бұрын
Hello Stepan, we use to hit the ball just after the bounce because it is the point when all the spin coming is higher. The we can use all the spin in our favour. And other reason is because of the altitud with the net, this help us to keep the ball close to the net and help us also to stop the speed that is higher when higher is the ball. I would say about chop block, keep it straight and you will see that naturally for controlling spin and speed the angle will change naturally. The third question I didn’t get it, sorry. Maybe can you do it using other words?
@stepanvotava8632
@stepanvotava8632 3 күн бұрын
The third question means, will there be a chop in the ball at the block immediately after the rebound after the topspin? There are defenders who play behind the table and put a chop in the ball. Then you can play with grass and at the table. So if there will be a chop? And it is better to play at table with grass without a sponge or is it also possible with a sponge? (for example with 0.5mm) And what was the young lady playing with in the video? Thank you for the quick answers.
@diegox.longpips
@diegox.longpips 2 күн бұрын
@stepanvotava8632 a ok I got it. Actually you will produce spin chopping just after the bounce but not that much that blocking out of the table, because of the range of movement you can have there. Although that, you can see that blocking close to the table brings less time for reaction to the opponent, making the continue attacking difficult. For me, and this is a personal opinion, blocking close to the table is more efficient

I struggle with the "twiddle". I never seem to remember to twiddle it back when I am in stressful situations.🤣 More often than not, it's the opponent that benefit on my twiddles. I just confuse myself... so I don't do them so often nowadays...... Instead I have made an effort to attack with the pimples. Not so easy to do either, but a nightmare for the opponent to recive if you succeed to get it right.

Hello, welcome to the Pimplers family. Well, there are different brands in the market, depends if you want the long pips for playing active or passive. In general, because of the foot pain I will not recommend slow pips made for defending and for sure use OX in stead of sponge ones. I’m using right now DZ from SANWEI and I’m so happy with them. They are good for attacking and pushing long. I recommend them because they are cheap but lasting, and for buying them you can use the link in the bio or the link in the description of this video and get some extra discount. Let me know about your process. Regards

@@diegox.longpips hi..i shall consider it.does it require a sponge or it comes with it? is it easier to glue on a all wood blade.tks
@diegox.longpips
@diegox.longpips 6 ай бұрын
I always use long pips OX, means with no sponge. They are the most disruptive one and the best for playing close to the table. The ones with sponge are more recommended for people that use them for attacking constantly or defending far from the table. About gluing them, it is not difficult but it is needed to take care and do it with calm. I have a video in my channel about how to glue them, that can be useful for you.

sir do you have recommendations for short pips? training tips and drills
@diegox.longpips
@diegox.longpips 9 ай бұрын
Hello, and welcome to this pips community. Actually I would say you can practice those exercises, It would be easy to attack with short pips in this case. Also there are couple of more ideas like the 5, attacking in forehand then back hand and turning you self for attacking with forehand from the left side of the table. Also the 8, attacking on the left and on the right turning each time the racket for getting to the ball with the short pips. I think those exercises are simple and so useful in a match. Regards and welcome here :D
