At beginning of video I thought the Iron used coals on inside. But other way be much safer with metal insert. Like your videos.

Great restoration, that iron is probably 100 yrs or more old. I can barely remember my grandmother had one.

I remember as a very small child back in around 1968 seeing a TV commercial for an Iron that was the first of it's kind to shoot steam out.and now I'm seeing this. Boy how far we've come.

Well Done! The finish of the satin paint and the matte black blueing looked deadly. And your work with the handles was beautiful too. A lot of incredible machinist seem to struggle when it comes to fit and finish on the "tree carcass"
