Excellent tutorial. I watched it the first time without sound so I would not disturb my daughter while she studies. I understood most of it that way. So cool.
Thanks for your response. I am on a tablet, so maybe it is the American thing. I do enjoy your tutorials, although I have to go back a few times to understand the weaves. I have learned so much from your videos, I hope that t pressing the "like" symbol will help keep you making videos!

I love your video for this peice and I was wondering if you could share links for the stones you use and the wires as well please? I am not having any luck myself.
@OxanaCrafts8 жыл бұрын
I use wire from Rio Grande and Monsterslayer, just raw copper wire from either website. The stones I search for online, ebay, etsy, it is kind of all luck especially with labradorites, just search for "cabochon". Some facebook groups sells stones as well.

Probably just perception on video -- the 16G I ordered from Arcor doesn't seem as thick as the one you're using. I've thought about going down to a 14 for a frame. I dunno. Maybe the hard and soft matter with thickness when they measure? I usually use half hard.
@OxanaCrafts6 жыл бұрын
I have super tiny hands so that makes all the wire look thicker than it is. I always use dead soft because half hard is too firm for me to be able to bend

You should do a tutorial with something you hammer in the video!!! 😁 LOL just saying cause you mentioned it..
@OxanaCrafts8 жыл бұрын
I think I have tried to show the hammering in a couple of videos, but it is so hard, because the way I have my camera set up is I have to hold stuff up in front of it, and I can't really hold up my iron block and hammer in the air, lol. So when I try to film it, it is kind of hard to see, especially since I have to try to hold the camera while I hammer. But I am going to try and get someone to film me doing it, to get a halfway decent video

Lol ok cool tgat be awsome cause i just got my hammering block for Christmas and im ready to test it out

How do you know how far to go with your bail? TIA
@OxanaCrafts3 жыл бұрын
About an inch or a little less should be good, but you can customise size of bail, you can weave a little longer to make bail extra large like for a big beaded necklace to fit through for example.
