Walking through memories has created an ache in my chest, and a renewed feeling of need to go home. Thanks for that, lovely and searching as it was. I cant go back, left it too late, and my home is where I am now, NZ and family. But will always miss Oxford. Take care.

Thank you for this absolutely splendid walk around my old town ! Most especially, for walking down Merton Street ( most walks pass it by ) to my old college, Merton College, 30+ years from undergrad to faculty member - since retired. For anyone interested, Thomas Bodley initiator and creator of the Bodleian Library was a Fellow of Merton College, and within the walls of Merton there is the oldest ( Medieval ) continuously functioning college library in the world ! With some humour, I remember it was hell riding a bike along Merton Street, surely one of the most uneven road surfaces in Oxford :) Thank you once again, a wonderful and super tour, very well done indeed.
