Raw difficulty of JEE Advanced questions is definitely harder but deeming the other factors, Gaokao takes the title for the world's toughest exam. One factor being, Gaokao is for all Chinese HS Students regardless of the major taken and is the only way that decides the University you enter. However, that's not the case in India. Gaokao is basically the easier version of JEE Advanced but for science, commerce and art students.

well I'm not saying that gaokao is easier than jee advance but jee advance is on some different level all Chinese students can give that paper but in india students first have to clear high school with sufficient percentage which makes you eligibile for jee and then you've to clear jee mains and finally those are only eligibile for jee advance who clear the cutoff of jee mains and even the level of paper become harder and harder and then after clearing jee advance you get a college finally.... and the main thing is that a high school student have to clear all these exams to get a college😐 and you can't give it more than 2 consecutive years... the paper consist of super harder questions + negative marking + result in percentile instead of percentage + alot of stress + only 3 hours for physics, chemistry, and maths + families expectations + being a pressurised middle class family member.... and that's how our whole childhood get destroy😞

Look at this way.... JEE mains/advanced is for students who took 12Science and chosen the Engineering line. While Gaokao is like All students Arts , Commerce, Science stream all forced to learn and give this exam. So imagine all Indian students of all subject lines had to compulsarily give JEE exam...that would be death😂

I used to live in china, i experienced the gaokao exam and all of the pain it causes, i was studying up to 16 hours a day sometines until midnight. I took the exam on June 7th of 2021 and luckily my exam results was actually pretty good

In terms of difficulty of questions and thinking ability JEE advance is tough although it's very competitive ( only 1% can go to IIT ). But Gaokao has immense pressure and the competition is way more than Jee advance. Both are tough .

I'm not sure if you can find the English version of the Iran's national exam to enter university called "Konkour "or"Konkoor".The rank of each applicant in this one-day exam along side the highschool's grades from nationwide standard exams determine which university one can go to. The math section contains questions on geometry, calculus, algebra, probabilites and statistics, among others.

I think I know why gaokao is the only entrance exams for Chinese to enter any public university in China. The Chinese government wants to make sure that only a certain number of students can study there. The ones who don't make the cut will have to work in various other fields that don't require university education. That way, they have people who also do menial jobs. If everyone is a graduate, many essential jobs will not have any workers.

idk about the difficulty level of gaokao but as an Indian student, I KNOW jee is hard, but at least it's optional. taking CET is enough to get you into an engineering college to, and CET is kinda easier

jee advanced is a skill based exam which tests your aptitude on an advanced level not a time based exam in which you have to be a quick problem solver and that's the reason why IITs is the most successful group of institutions i don't know about GaoKao exam because i am in Indian but if it contain some easy questions then it is a time based paper and is not in comparison with jee advanced

Plese, solve ITA and IME (engineering schools from Brazil). They are hardest than jee and only 150 kids can passa the exam in ITA and 90 in IME... Is sad that nobody talk about this outside Brazil
