Totally agree with Galloway's arguments. He talks like a man with education and a lot of common sense, a lot of which many of the politicians in the UK, US, Canada and other western democracies lack. Having degrees or a lot of money is not a substitute for doing the right thing. Galloway must be praised for standing for the rights of the individual over the rights of government and fighting against imperialist policies that result in wars, and killing of innocent people and children.

The fact that he gave money to the Palestinian ministry of Health is a badge of honour. Besides which Hamas is the democratically elected legitimate government of the Palestinian State, if he gave them money, so what? I get my info from the record. You seem to make yours up. He met Saddam Hussein twice as he said at the Senate hearing. He tried to stop the sanctions which killed hundreds of thousands of children (Western governments also wanted an end to these). This was the reason for his last meeting with Saddam. He was trying to talk sense into him vis a vis "Oil for food" programme. His dealings were examined in great detail by the US government and he was clean. You are just defaming him.

George didn't go to University, he's a natural rhetorician. If you were to look among the ranks of MPs for the truly "born leader", Galloway is the standout. When you compare the current leader of the Labour Party to George Galloway there's no comparison really. But he's still a politician. He's largely on the side of progress, but he does have a network of heads of state he is on personal terms with, doesn't mean he supports them, just what a leader would do (not Ed Miliband evidently)

The question was would it surprise you. Im trying to gauge if you have any understanding of imperialism. As for your (over used) example of rockets being fired. In britain the IRA mad war against them and never, not once , did they ever consider building a huge wall around the Irish and pounding the locked in area with war planes and artillery. They realised that to do so would only escalate the violence to a point that would never end.
