I used this product to remove a 30 year old baby poop stain (my mom informed me that it was my baby poop actually) from a gorgeous handmade satin and lace baptismal gown that my grandma made (she was an amazing seamstress, I have big shoes to fill). I did have to use really hot water, like boiling hot. Soaked it overnight like you said, and it came right out! All of my kids have been baptized in it too! Yeah for Oxi Clean!

I tried this on the disgusting 17 yr old grout of my kitchen floor. Amazing! I have white grout!!!? I have tried using the MagicEraser. Spent hours on my hands and knees to little effect. The OxiClean was easy to use and what a difference! Thank you thank you , robin

I have started making my own laundry detergent and I add oxi clean into the mixture. For around 25 dollars I make enough laundry detergent to last me around a year. And there are three of us in my household. I've never had any problems with my detergent removing stains. Oxi clean is amazing.

Yes! Fels naptha bar soap. Walmart has it pre grated/ shredded. Or any other bar soap would work. I have used doctor bronners and it works great especially if you don't care for the smell of fels. You just have to grate it with a cheese grater. You need bar soap to help suds it up One container of baking soda (I buy generic) One container of WASHING soda (arm and hammer is the only brand I've found.) One box of borax One small container of oxi clean Optional- scent booster. I use 2 of the large containers of the downy unstoppables. You can omit this if you want it all natural or are REALLY a trying to cut costs. You can add hot water and liquefy it if you want. I leave it in powder form and I have never had any issues with it dissolving or leaving residue and I wash all my clothes in cold water. I use the scoop from the oxi clean and one scoop is enough for an average size load, if you have a large washer or large load two scoops. I use coups and it costs between 20 and 26 dollars. I used it on my grout just the other day! I also use a couple scoops in some shallow water in the bath to clean the non slip grip things that get so grubby! Also if you've got burnt on grease on a baking tray, soaking them in oxi clean is the only way to get it off, chuck a scoop in with biological washing powder when I'm washing the litter tray too. That's all I can think of for now lol. Loved watching your videos for a few years now, I think your my best friend's twin, she's very much like you in her ways & you both had your last babies on the same day! it's also great for soaking your metal grease filters , just give them a soak in boilingwater and oxyclean for an hour then quick scrubb whilst you rinse and its all gone

Oxyclean is AWESOME. I actually will fill my bathtub with hot water and oxyclean to soak large amounts of items at once (usually plastic stuff) I just did all my white hangers, as they were looking dingy, and they look brand new now.

My husband just got a large container of the cleaner,so I soaked my twist mop over night. Boy what a difference, cleaner looking and no more bad odor. OMG YES! I just recently got turned onto OxyClean... My sisters husband had tons of stained white undershirts.. they had the yellowing in the armpit area too... she soaked them in the washer with a small scoop of oxy clean... ran through the washer and they came out sparkling white! I remember watching the infomercials when it first came out and used to always think it was just another "As Seen On TV" gimmick but its the real thing! I am a believer now!

yellow stains are the result of aluminium ingredient in antiperspirants. if you use deodorant no yellow s tain anymore :)

I have used oxy clean in my carpet shampooer. it wad amazing how nice my carpets looked when I was done. I noticed some one mentioned using it on tea and coffee stained cups... I just make a paste with water and baking soda a give my sinks, coffee cups, pots that I make tea in,a quick scrub and away with the stains. also use on my counters when we would get kool-aid stains on the counter.

I soak stained mugs, stainless steel coffee pot and tea pot, plastic containers, and my light colored kitchen sinks with oxiclean-hot-water. Works amazingly well. I think I will try all of my flat ware in the sinks filled with oxiclean hot water. I buy it at Costco or Sam's Club in a large box--very cost effective.

Most grocery stores sell a generic version of oxyclean and they all work well in my opinion and I’ve tried them all! I’ve used oxyclean to steam clean my carpet, I use it in the laundry, I use it when detailing my cars interior...so many uses!

I'm on the 'too expensive' bandwagon, but I do have a few inexpensive tips!! I am a huuuge fan of hydrogen peroxide. Same idea as oxyclean but FAR cheaper. I use a half and half solution of peroxide and vinegar on carpets and upholstery (it's fully removed a massive coffee stain on my stairs) and as far as laundry, I keep in a light-proof spray bottle a solution of 1 part dawn to 2 parts peroxide. That stuff is phenomenal, it's removed every stain I've ever tried except for banana... If anyone has a solution for that I would love to hear. Also, for the shirts, I've switched my husbands deodorant to a homemade one. Sounds hokey but seriously it works better than any deodorant he's used WITHOUT chemicals: 1/4c melted coconut oil, 1/4c baking soda & 1/4c corn starch (10 drops of essential oil is optional, just to make it smell nice) Mix the dry ingredients first then pour everything into an old deodorant container. It's so easy, and it saves massive amounts of money!

I agree it works well.. We had painted a bedroom so all the furniture was out of the room and I saw how disgusting the carpet was.. I sprayed a crap load of oxiclean water and a tad of peroxide solution thought the entire room.. Scrubbed the carpet, steam cleaned it, and did it one more time for kicks and giggles.. My carpet turned out fantastic and looked brand new.. And it's 20 YEARS OLD

I definitely need to finally try it. My MIL actually just had great success using it to remove tile grout residue from a recent tile project. She even tried the "professional" residue remover first with no luck but oxiclean did the trick.

your oxiclean is in very small containers we call it oxiaction nappysan in Australia and i use it for everything from concert cleaning to wall scrubbing carpet and best of all stove rings

I haven't used oxi clean since it's not sold in Iceland but vanish oxi action (which reacts with oxigen like oxi clean) is great for stripping Tots bots V3 cloth diapers. Minky is especially difficult if it becomes water repellant from diaper cream but soaking them in oxi action over night strips all the gunk from them and they're like new :)

My husband spilled a LARGE glass of red wine on our pure white carpet. I poured a mixed of oxy and water over the stain and sat amazed as the red wine simply disappeared. Totally gone, not a trace left. No rubbing, no blotting, oxyclean is a miracle cleaner!

Well, I found these instructions online. How to Pre Mix Oxiclean in a Spray Bottle Using the provided scooper, add 1/4 scoop of Oxiclean powder to the spray bottle. Add 16 ounces of water to the spray bottle. Tightly screw the top back onto the spray bottle and shake the contents until thoroughly mixed. I also read on google to mix 2 tablespoons of O C to a pint of water.

Every wash cycle I do I put 1 scoop of oxiclean (generic brand) and about a quarter of a cup of vinegar. Never have stains on the clothes. No pre treat no anything.

I love Oxy Clean and use it mainly for laundry. It is awesome. It takes out dried on blood with no problem and makes any of my white shirts that have become a bit dingy bright white again. Love this stuff! Sam Green if you have a carpet cleaner like a hoover, add half a scoop of oxyclean with your cleaning solution and really really hot water. I actually just washed our carpet with it and it looks new. Just make sure to rinse them well.

if you want cheap oxiclean generic versions of it does exist , they do have various names , like what I use its called home select oxi-all clean'n fresh multipurpose stain remover. Its available for $1 in .88lb container in dollar stores and various other stores like grocery stores, its also available in like Walmart but is more expensive. Also you can make it yourself since all of the ingredients are available online. If you get the msds sheet on oxiclean you can get all of the ingredients in it plus % of each ingredient to to the weight.

I don't really use my oxiclean so much, but will definitely try it again. I'm wondering if it would be safe to try on microfibre furniture. I tried rubbing alcohol without a lot of success. Think I'll give it a try tomorrow, but will try a small area first. Thanks for the great vids!!!

It actually did work. I found that it made the material a little stiffer and it took a long time to dry but it is cleaner. I will say that since this video, I've used oxiclean on a lot of stuff, and am absolutely amazed. My new fav product!

I'm not sure about your question but here is a way to remove mattress stains mix 1/2 cup of warm water 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dish soap spray thr cleaner onto the stain blot the stain with a clean towel if the stain is still there repeat until it is gone
