Great vid mate. You are a very well spoken presenter for a bloody truck driver. hahahaha. I am jst about to go on a 10000 km + tow over the next 8 weeks and am seriously thinking about the upgrade. Keep living the dream you two.

This hitch looks like a game changer for towing heavy vans! Great review guys!

It seriously has transformed the way we tow, honestly the amount of energy it absorbs is unreal. 🙌🏼

We put one on our 2007 Kedron in early July. It's an awesome hitch and really saves my wife from being thrown around every time the van hits a bump in the road. The handbrake relocation was a bit of a pain, but with a 16 year old Hyland Hitch I had to go out and invest in a rattle gun to get the old hitch off! Allen's a top bloke to deal with, too.

Hey David & great to hear your enjoying the glide! Haha I’ll say, 15years worth of road grime sure will seize some things up 😂 Yes you are dead right there, a great bloke and very passionate about the product 👍🏼

Hi guys, we tried to share a link to your main channel page on our community tab and had a bit of a problem. Your URL has a full stop at the end and KZbin dropped it off when accessing the link causing an error. The solution was to add two full stops to the link on our comment. Just letting you know in case someone else wants to share your link and has an issue with it on YT.
@our.australia.trip.10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the share! Yes there is an issue there we are aware of. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Unfortunately someone has the @our.Australia.trip handle 🤷🏻♂️

Hi guys. Looks great. Do you run weight distribution bars. We picked up our XC5 mid April and looking forward to some big trips in a rew years. Any feed back would be great. D
@our.australia.trip.10 ай бұрын
Hi Daryl, thanks for tuning in! No WDH for us, the ozglide wouldn’t work with it anyway. We do a fair bit of off-road stuff and believe if your suspension is setup right for towing there is no need for the bars. We do travel full time so the rig is setup solely for that purpose, a bit different if the tow rig is used for running around town etc where the WDH has its perks!

Thanks Brad, I did say previously that I was looking at this system so your review video is of value, Just a couple of things - what air pressure is put into the airbag? Is there variations to pressure set-up pending weight of the van being towed?
@our.australia.trip.11 ай бұрын
The airbag pressure is dependant on caravan ball weight I believe. You just inflate the bag until the holes for the lockout pin line up & that is the correct pressure for your trailer. 👍😊

Hi guys, it seems your not running the oz glide on your new van. Any reason why ?
@michaelblake444211 ай бұрын
this is something that i am definitely considering for my setup which is almost exactly the same as yours, $3200 is a lot of cash especially when i already have a new DO35 (bought for $385). Do they sell a version that comes without a DO35 so you can just add your existing one?
@our.australia.trip.10 ай бұрын
Hi Michael, call Allen on the number in the description & he will be able to answer that question I’m sure! Safe travels mate 🤙🏼
@steeldragon58673 ай бұрын
Look the goods but ridiculously expensive, I'll stick with my do35 with airbags on the van, good bit of gear though

How much to fit a DO45 hitch and when is it available
@our.australia.trip.9 ай бұрын
Not to sure mate, stay tuned on the ozglide Facebook page. Will probably be your best source of info, otherwise give Allen a call mate & I'm sure he could help you out.

Nah come on. What about for us tradies towing for work all day backing into rough driveways up and down curbs. That's not a price for us. I was thinking somewhere between $500 and $1k. Why don't they make a budget version for the working man?
@our.australia.trip.11 ай бұрын
After dealing with ozglide, I know if they could make it in Australia cheaper they would. Thing is the DO35 is worth than $500. Add the Airbag & shocks you would be getting close to $1000. That’s before even taking the r&d, engineering, ADR approval, steel cutting, bending and fabrication into consideration. Simply put you couldn’t dumb this down for a ‘budget version’ without compromising performance or load ratings. Also buying an ozglide you are supporting an Australian made and owned product which is just the cherry on top for us.
