Show peaks in season one. The entire psychological manipulation storyline of Beecher becoming Schillinger’s prag, and then the table flip, is some of the most cathartic character storytelling ever. And then the riot in the finale was amazing. Show never reached those heights, but still maintained baseline quality. Special shoutout to the Season 4 Finale, which was a brutal rug pull. Hilarious
@jamikojonen643627 күн бұрын
I completely agree, the pilot might be the best pilot episode of any show I've watched. I also remember being amazed when I saw I had only watched like 3 episodes, because it felt like so much had already happened. It also didn't feel overwhelming to keep track of all the characters, which is sometimes an issue for me with shows. It probably helped that the setting was inside the prison for the entire show, great choice in my opinion. I thought it went too off the rails and a bit nonsensical with season 4 so I don't know how to feel about it overall. Definitely need to rewatch it in a few years though.

His scene with the mayor at the end is funny af.
