My whiskers have now turned grey and I also feel the urge to do that BIG DRIVE. Did the South West of WA many years ago and vowed to return in a more leisurely way next time - rather than the ‘express - cram it in’ trip. As usual, excellent forecast presentation. Thanks Phil.

Looking forward to next Tuesday for some possible rain in Melbourne and then next Wednesday and Thursday for some windy days as I really enjoy windy days. Thanks, Phil, excellent work as always and I enjoyed the fly-over of Ceduna. It does look like a beautiful place to visit.

Thanks Phil. Interesting how it's raining in areas that don't normally get rain. It's happening overseas too. There was widespread hail in Saudi the other day.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Best weather forecast ever. Love ur work Phil. Reading the comments Phillip, seems like some of the female variety of youtube watchers reckon ur a good lookin rooster. Well u seem like an interesting guy and I'd certainly like 2 have a beer and a chat with u. From a purely hetrosexual perspective 🤔😉🤭 David. Thanks 4 all ur hard work. Really appreciate it 👍👍👍

Hoping you'll have better rainfall numbers for the bottom half of Vic before the month is over 🤞

Absolutely. The long and medium range forecasts from everyone were predicting average rainfall for the Southwest this Spring, so I put in 30 trees, 5 bamboo stands and let the geese breed in the Winter. With less than 1/5th average rainfall so far and Spring ending in just over a week, the dams are less than half full, the garden tanks are empty, the bamboo has shrivelled and the trees are dying. Seems that with a changing climate, govenments just aren't investing enough on getting the science right.

We drove from Brisbane to Perth, 3 in a Sedan, I slept on the red rocky dirt and woke to huge red kangaroos peering down at me, quite an adventure, took a week..drove to Broome from Perth loved Perth but couldnot find work so off we went on 600 ks of dirt road back in the 70s, so glad we did that trip, worked up in Broome for a few months then headed to South East Asia... Thanks for your weather updates I encourage you to have an adventure, Melbourne is a great city to start your trip..🧝♀️🌠

Thanks Phil. Really hoping for 30mm this weekend. Already seeing BOMS forecast decaying. They are saying only15mm. Went for a run today. Everything is tinder dry like at the end of summer. Getting increasingly worried about catastrophic fire risk. 30mm this weekend would help a lot.

Hi Susan - the place names have zero connection to the forecast. It just randomly selects places over the map, usually we hide them.
