This has been a painful week! How in the world does a large family continue to function when Mom isn't running at 100%? In this video, I share some of the tips and tricks that I utilize to keep our household and homestead on track when Mom is sick or hurt.

I was telling the children last night that at least childbirth doesn't go on and on and on for days like this tooth pain has. Usually I just had a couple of intense hours of pain and then I was rewarded with a sweet baby. This is different and not fun at all! I appreciate the prayers so much, friend! :)

Room canals are know for Collar up Infection! Not many will tell you about this though! Best to remove and not replace.❤

Tooth pain is definitely no fun. Prayers the antibiotic kicks in soon. You are so blessed with your children helping like they do. But that's how they're being raised. Get better soon. I'll be watching for those ads.

I am so sorry !! I had all my teeth pulled 7 weeks ago ! Quite a few were infected. Mouth pain is awful !!!! I will be praying for you !!! God bless !

Been missing you so glad when you came up nut then felt so sorry for you, I truely understand your pain, im in the secand week of having the shingles behind my ear, over my forehead and into my hair. Each morning have to ease my eyes open as they swell up over night. Just myself and husband home now so we muddle on , I do what I can and husband fills in , I try to keepup with meals and the pots and pans hubby does washing, dishwasher and floors, I'm so blessed with a husband who just get in and doeswhat needs doing. Our son and daughter provides transport as my husband doesn't drive as he lost the sight in one eye over 10years ago so I've done all the family transport but not feeling safe with the intensity of pain I'm in at the moment and the pain killersleaves one a bit doppyso best not to drive. Blessings to you all and prayers that your tooth gets sorted.❤

I get trigeminal neuralgia and the pain's awful, so I understand how tooth pain can totally deplete you of energy & gumption. As I'm late watching this video, I hope that it's all healed up, you've had the extraction and are feeling better. Hope Shawn's feeling better from his recent health scare too. The routines you have in place work to keep everything functioning like the proverbial well oiled machine, but I'm sure too it keep the children distracted from worrying overmuch that Mamma or Daddy is ill. Your children all seem so well grounded, so cheerful, happy to help, they exude joy and all have wonderful smiles. How blessed you are. And how blessed they are with parents who've shown them what family means.

I’m so thankful for my Husband. When I’m down (once or twice a year) he calls in off his people for the day and will stay home and take care of everything. We personally don’t have our kids do anything other than keep their bedrooms cleaned. I run everything else from Toe nail clippings to dinner and beyond. Lol I know everyone lives differently, no judgement here. I enjoy watching you and your family. How it’s structured is really awesome for you guys and it works! Everyone seems to be having fun while doing it too! So sweet.

It is hard to be sick while raising kids. I was a single parent. I had an auto-immune disease that was miserable and I was given three years to live. Life was miserable but I did make it and did not die...obviously. 😊 It was a miracle and my doc even said that! 😇

I am feeling tremendously better, Lindsay! There's a massive whole where the root canal was pulled out, but it is still filling in a little at a time. I'm so very glad to be past all that pain! :)

My sinus have been bad since April. Just had terrible pain in my head and ears. I cannot imagine the pain your having. Prayers it all goes well. Get the rest you need to get better.

Thinking it takes about 3 days for antibiotics to kick in . But you will get better. You probably was getting sick further back then you think. Yes, pain killers are great, especially if your a caretaker. Your a good Mother, just give it time.

You were right on the mark! Today was Day 3 of antibiotics and I finally felt like the infection was lessening today. I still have pain, but it was noticeably less. Thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate them so much! :)

We must be on the same wavelength. I am litterally having the exact same issue and it started the same day. When I did that livestream you hung out for, my mouth was on fire. Today has been the worst. I even took Motrin and Tylenol today. I never take that stuff either. I totally feel for you.

No way, that's crazy! Yeah, I'm still popping pain medicine today. The pain is intense and constant. I sure am eager to get this thing removed. Hopefully you have an end date in sight to get the pain stopped as well! :)

I had this exact thing happen to my root canal in middle school. My mom didn’t believe me at bedtime, but she believed me the next morning when my cheek had swelled so badly from the infection that my eye had sealed shut. Those things get mean in a hurry. 😬

Just stopped by to see you're video today. Sorry to hear about your hurting tooth. Once the dentist pulls that puppy you'll feel alot better. I had bad tooth troubles a few years ago so I understand that kinda tooth pain. I had to get one surgically removed. I was so happy to get that tooth out. After that I stopped eating all sugar and bread cookies ect. Low carb. Within a few months all my tooth pain went away and even improved substantially. Anyways take it easy while the antibiotics do their job and children take care of your mom. Sent. prayer up for u asking for relief. Bye for now from way up north in Canada.

You poor thing I know now they recommend implants rather than root canals...had my share and they only lasted a couple of years. Be careful being diabetic infection is not a good thing. Prayers.

Hi there!!! I really don't do freezer meals too often nowadays because I don't have much extra space to store them in my freezer! I have done freezer meals in the past when it was nearing time for a baby to be delivered though. Those meals sure did help in the weeks following when I had a newborn to take care of! :)
