I just bought the RV60D on sale for $379. An awesome value! This dual zone RV 60D performs excellent! I have used an ARB fridge for years and I love these portable units. This one exceeds my expectations!

Like the Setpowers, but our variable is the height of our galley in our teardrop, only 16” high. Very hard to find a low profile fridge. So we went from a ICECO GO20 (21 qt) and upgraded to their JP30 (32 quart). With the 21 quart model we had been able to pack about 3 days of meals for 2, without drinks. We vacuum seal most of our meals so it cuts down on space needed. And we put our drinks in an small ice cooler. If going out for a night or two, we fit a couple beers and water bottles with the food. Hoping the 32 quart will give us 3-5 days of food plus a six pack. Would have loved a 45 quart, but size was the limiter. Great vid as always.

I have the 45D and love it! If that 60D was available I would have gotten it. If you ever need some space and need to get rid of it let me know, don't live too far away.

Iceco VL 60 pro I love that fridge! But my dometic 35 Was Way better quality but also a lot more expensive.

I have the RV60D and have noticed the temp is quite a bit off. Mine set at 38° overnight was actually 44-46°. I lowered the temp and it seems to be doing great.

Great reviews on the RV60D and RV45D. Had been looking at Dometic prior to watching your reviews and a view others. Was wondering if you knew how well the two sizes would fit in the back of a Jeep JLU? I think the 45 would be fine but worried the 60 would not fit. This is with handle facing towards back tailgate. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!

I just put our RV60 in the back of my wife's new JLU and it fits perfect.

@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Thanks for the quick reply. Just to make sure before buying... This is with one handle against the rear seat the other against the tailgate, correct? So the digital temps would be facing out the back of the Jeep. Thanks!

The thing I always think about when the warranty on any of these is mentioned, how much does it cost to ship one of these, any of these 12v fridges, to the manufacturer should something need to be replaced? I can't imagine it being cheap. I wonder if you can take it to a local (manufacturer approved) repair shop or if you have to ship it back to them?

I'm looking at these right now. The only thing holding me back is their reported lack of customer service. What has your experience been? Also I haven't been able to find a package deal with the insulation bag.

Mine had the compressor die. They warrantied it and sent me a new one but it took sending a video and quite a few emails to reach the resolution. If I was in a time crunch it would have been more stressful but all in all everything was solved.

For the power consumption tests, did you pre-cool the fridge before switching to the battery or does the test include cooling to temperature?

Too bad the smaller section is 5.7 inches wide since a gallon of milk is 6 inches wide. Of course if a person wants the larger area to be the fridge, it will accommodate the gallon. My needs are the larger area function as the freezer. Yes a person could buy half gallons of milk, but they cost more.

Look up the channel: Jasonoid He reviews both the rv45d and the rv60d He puts a gallon of milk in the fridge side (the side with the compressor) The gallon of milk seems to fit snuggly in the fridge side without the basket. I think the basket is just too small for a gallon of milk. Without the basket it will fit. I just ordered the RV45D and I will be testing what fits and doesn't fit.
