Palak Paneer Pulao
If you are a fan of Palak Paneer then you will surely love this upgrade to Palak Paneer Pulao. Not just Winter, this you can have any time of the year.
Ingredients :
2 cup Basmati Rice
A bunch of Spinach (Add Palak in hot water, remove in 5 seconds & transfer in a bowl of Ice Water to cool down)
Handful of Coriander Leaves
1/2 Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
2 Dry Red Chillies
1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger Knob
4-5 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
Finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
1 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1.5 tsp Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
2 cup Basmati Rice and Water
2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
1 big piece of Cinnamon (Dalchini)
4-5 Cloves (Laung)
3 tsp Ghee
Salt as per taste
200 gmPaneer
Method :-
Heat a deep base pan to cook rice
Add 2 cup Basmati Rice and Water
Add 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
Add 1 big piece of Cinnamon (Dalchini)
Add 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
Add 1 tsp Ghee
Add Salt as per taste
Cover the lid & let it cook
Further drain cooked rice (to remove water)
Heat another pan, add 1 tsp Ghee
Add Paneer and saute until light golden-brown
And then remove in a bowl
To Make Palak Puree:
In a mixer jar, take handful of Coriander Leaves
Add slightly blanched Palak
Add 1/2 Lemon Juice
Churn to make puree
Further in the same pan of paneer
Add 1 tsp Ghee
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add 2 Dry Red Chillies
Add 1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger Knob
Add 4-5 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
Saute and add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
Add 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
Add Salt as per taste
Let the onion be light golden-brown
Add 1 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Add 1.5 tsp Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder
Add 1 tsp Garam Masala and fry well
Now add Palak Puree, keep the flame slow
Add fried Paneer & Rice
Gently mix everything
Serve this Amazingly Delicious Palak Paneer Pulao with Curd to taste best!
