I hate when people try to frame things from a non religious standpoint. We have the morality that we do and the standards that we do because of what was passed down from God. If you take religion out of it then you're left with no morality and therefore these people aren't doing anything wrong. What you need to do is tell them the truth, that they need to repent.

I agree with you but understand why they do it, they were ant to change the world even if they can't get people to repent. We just need to remember that the wisdom of this world is foolishness and God's truth is foolishness to those who don't understand him You can't remove God from morality to make it acceptable to people, they reject God for the same reasons they reject morality

Pornography doesn't just ruin marriages. It totally ruins the lives of the models that they take the nude pictures of. IMO, anybody that looks at these pictures PARTICIPATES in the ruin of these girls. It makes it nearly impossible for them to make good marriages, and even when they do, the children are tormented by their school mates, with everything on the Internet forever, they see it and point it out to all of a kids and teachers that their mother is a porn star /model. Once done, she can't live it down.🧟

I don't watch porn, my wife is free to check my cellphone and computer accounts, she has all of my passwords. I don't even get Sports Illlustrated anymore and I have her go through all of my magazines before I see them, and she can cut out any suggestive or softcore porn pics. We've been married 35 years and counting, and this is partly why. 🙂❤️🙂

Maybe spending too much time participating in other activities outside the marriage would destroy too? ( volunteering at church?) Or is it your spending so time away from home (or being it video games, out in the workshop at home.) because its coping mechanism for a bad marriage? I would say most men are going use porn to get there needs met in a sexless marriage - what man would would approach a woman for a marriage if there would be little to no sex involved in it? Because the Biggest reason ( this coming from a 20 yr divorce lawyer) men divorce is lack of sex in marriage. - And John Gottman proved that 69% of all marriage problem will never be resolved, So what are the chances of turning sexless marriage around? My guess its a very low percentage. Especially the length of time it goes on.( All know it) Some women weaponize sex so this becomes self imposed prophecy.

I agree! I really don’t understand all the shame people place on people who watch porn, or why people care so much about others watching porn. Most men either do it, or lie. It’s also suggestive when women in particular try to shame men for watching porn because porn is sexual liberation for men. With porn, men have control of their own sex life. Why is sex for a man only okay as long as it’s to only one woman who he’s also supporting and loyal to? It seems like exactly what women want, not what men want.

There's no evidence it "destroys" marriages. The problems BEFORE adult content is consumed is what destroyed the marriage. For sexless marriages it's probably the only thing keeping the man in it. Unfortunately he should just leave and get his needs met elsewhere. There's zero statistical evidence it destroys marriages.

Looking outside of marriage for sexual fulfillment is, by definition, wrecking it, violating the terms of the vows. Externalizing responsibility in either direction is wrong. If someone in a marriage is rejecting their partner, that's bad, but it does not justify turning to pornography.

A true man knows the virtue of self denial, and does so valiantly. His best recourse is open communication with his wife and counselling if that is needed. If he seeks pleasures only and leaves his wife, he just either ends up alone or enters his next relationship with this as a problem all ready…
