The real problem here is the DPF…. It’s failing and sending soot to the EGR filter. I guarantee in 6 months the same fault code will be back

I do the same job code gone but after month coolant leaking from this cooler joint's please confirm you face the same and what sealant you use .

i have the same issue on my Landrover Discovery Sport, cleaned the EGR valve and after seven days the error code is back. Two Land Rover specialist said that the DPF needs to be replaced for the small sum of £2,550!!

You can have your DPF cleaned instead of replacing. Much cheaper.

Exactly. I've the same issue with a CRV 1.6 idtec. I had to clean the dpf because Honda was announcing a fu***** amount to replace it. The result is 99% like a brand new DPF and the car after this process regains power like brand new.

needing your dpf cleaning and having a cracked dpf are two different things... if soot is getting through then sadly you do need a new dpf because its cracked. Be warned though... in 10 months time you will probably need a new dpf again... literaly in the process of trying to get LR to replace my repkacement under warranty.

@@David-Craig-76 Normally, DPF cleaning companies inspect the DPF with a camera to check if it's cracked or not. A bad injector calibration can also create DPF problems and then generate EGR B filter blockage. Even a defective glowplug can create problems.

Like what typy of engine are you putting it on..There gas engines & Diesel..I have a very hard time getting good video on this type of vehicle..Poor video!!
