Dear sir, I maintain a very simple investment on index nifty 50 alone. I have a question.. i advice my wife and non earning person of my family to invest on index fund with my income to avoid direct taxation during withdrawal. Is this profitable approach am doing or should i invest whole amount myself.

EPF employer contribution is tax free and not part of income (unlike NPS) and so not considered. EPF employee contribution is part of 80C in old regime

@@pattufreefincal thanks for info...but it's so sad that employee contribution is mandatorily deducted but can't able yo claim in new tax regime...we can't stop also in case if using new tax regime...and it can be used in MF...Anyway. all tax plan and slab nothing we can do as citizen 😆🤣🤣

Dear Sir, I am PhD student at IISER Tirupati. I planned to take term insurance but due to pay slip requirement, I can't able to take term insurance. I am aware that we are not employee and comes under student category. But still funding agency can provide pay slip? Is there any way for PhD students to avail term insurance?

You can only show proof of fellowship. But I am not sure if that is enough. Try via an agent
