Ma'am, I completed two doses of influenza vaccine for my kid. But still my child got infected with Influenza virus A within 6 months after the second dose completed. Though everyone say after the vaccine, even if we get infected the virus will not impact much, it was not so for my kid. Temperature was102 with throat pain and headache and vomiting. Almost 10 days for recovery with antiviral medications. Is it bcoz the vaccine is not effective for my kid? Should we give this vaccine yearly ? Could you please talk about influenza?
