When you are 50 and hating your job and feeling trapped....you are gonna pull out that memory of swimming across the lake, with all its freedom and your healthy in its prime body and smile. You did it. Some things will fade away in memory but that one will for sure last forever!!

You probably 'heard' us all yelling that you walked the Kendall Katwalk on day 138, soon after the 8m time and about the time when Zoo was commenting on the wide trail! 😆 Wonderful videao as always. I will miss them when you finish but I can always watch them again 'off season'. Thank you sharing your hike.

That cinematic setting on your camera is incredible for this stretch of the trail, especially.

Absolutely epic scenery! Thanks for sharing! PLEASE do a "what's in my pack".....Marg's pack looks so small. I feel like my sleeping bag wouldn't even fit in there. Lol!

13:52 Your time-lapse of the fog pouring over the high ridge is a great demonstration of what we call the "rain shadow" effect. West of the Cascades is much wetter than the east side because the moisture-laden air from the Pacific rises to go over the mountains and as it does it gets cooler so that much of the moisture falls in rain or snow. Then as it descends again on the east side it warms up so that it can hole more moisture, and since there is less moisture it doesn't rain very much at all. For example, Wenatchee gets something like 8 inches of precip. per year while the west side of the Cascades can get like up to 140 inches per year or something like that. Great time-lapse of a phenomenon I love to watch!

The video of the clouds coming down the mountain was awesome. I live and hike in the mountains and I’ve never seen that. So cool.

Incredible image at 15:28. A granite mountain literally eroding away. That’s the first time I’ve seen such a perfect example of a mountain breaking down. It would be a great picture for the wall !!!

You guys didn't miss the Kendall Katwalk. It was in your last video. About 5 miles (trail miles) from Snoqualmie Pass.

How you guys can look at and enjoy the scenery without stepping off the trail is baffling, to say the least! Thanks for posting. And keep on keeping on...and keep being careful!

You guys did not miss the catwalk because I seen it on the last video of you guys coming out of Snoqualmie. I seen you guys walk over it and I was surprised you didn't say anything about it. LOL I have a picture of it but I can't figure out how to send it on this chat

Sorry you didn't get the views after leaving Ridge Lake. I like it along that section. Spectacle Lake is also nice camping spot. Thanks for the videos. You two are my favorite ones to follow this summer. Best of luck getting to Canada.

You didn’t miss the katwalk, you walked across it right before you got to Ridge Lake. It’s in your previous video! I’ve been looking forward to seeing you all do this section, I did a few backpacking weekends at Spectacle and Ridge this summer and last summer. It’s a bummer you missed the views past Ridge Lake, they are spectacular. Enjoy the rest of your adventure!!

I have lived in Washington for 63 years and I’ll tell you it’s not always wet. It wouldn’t be on fire if it was always wet.
