The JDM Odyssey's were always so cool. I remember playing GT4 and wondering why the Odyssey in that game looked so different than my mother's car. I then learned how they're pretty much 2 completely different cars. This is one minivan even I wouldn't mind driving.

I think the reason for the false floor/folding seats in the back is for both pets and groceries and things not to fall between the cracks. Of course, kids could play in that space when stationary or picnicking, but not really when moving.

I swapped a similar engine into my TSX, if this one is automatic it has 187HP, the CVT k24a has 197HP both have loads of torque vs k24a2 which makes more at 6K+ rpm . Only 2008+ ABSOLUTEs have the 206HP engine recognizable by the plastic intake manifold. FYI. beautiful minivan. If it sold here I would have one already.

A great car indeed! And this is such a nice example still in stock condition with the original wheels. I have plans to import one from Japan myself. What whould the price be to import such a car to Holland? Love your videos Dereck! ❤

Yes, it's the same engine we got in the Accord Type S and Executive. Only over here we could combine them with a manual 6 speed transmission.

Had a question about these I’m here in Canada How reliable are theses I’ve been afraid to pull the trigger on one of these because of people saying they need to be tuned to run on our gas properly.

Are parts available here in Canada because of the motor being a common honda motor

Shares the same engine with the 2003-2005 usdm accord and the 2003-2006 Honda element so probably won’t be hard to find parts locally .

I really want one of these but I’m super curious about how they hold up on our gas here in bc and are the engines pretty close to the ones here for parts reasons ?

Hey, there. Just wondering what modifications (if any) need to be done in order to be BC compliant? Thanks!

Not until they are 25 years old I'm afraid. they started in 2003 so you have another four years to wait.
