Mojang project lead: We need an image. Nothing fancy, just an icon for a default resource pack. Go ahead and load up a random world, find a nice-looking view, and take a screenshot. A lot of stuff (pattern matching, algorithm analysis, pRNG analysis, etc) can probably be translated into the crypto field, specifically for strengthening algorithms and weakness detection, (if not directly for making crypto algorithms themselves, that's usually more pure math (finite fields, ecliptic curves, number theory, etc))
