Thanks for explaining not only the components but also how each component functions with each other. Amazing explanation

This is infinitely fascinating and gripping! I searched for such a video everywhere on french sites and youtube channels (🇫🇷💪), but unfortunately, no one offered such a great "tutorial". So, I just wanted to send you a gigantic "Thanks!", and just subbed to you ;)

That was a great easy to understand video. Those reserve handles must be expensive. In a couple videos I've watched someone pull their reserve handle then take the time to stow it under their suit.

It’s part of your kit, just sayin why wouldn’t you keep it , senseless to throw it away, you may need it again someday. 🙏

@@fishmut I'm just saying you just escaped plunging to your death and I'm amused people have the presence of mind to want to save a few bucks.

This is fascinating. Is there any way that in a malfunction, these steps can not release, like the stows?

4:24 I'm nitpicking, but shouldn't the velcro be peeled upwards first, before pulling down?
@paratechies3389 жыл бұрын
+Quagmirian Yes, some instructors teach as "PRIME" which is peeling up the velcro, and then "CUTAWAY". I've also see other instructors teach as: 1. "HO-" *student peels up velcro 2. "-LY" *student cuts away 3. "SHIT" *student pulls reserve handle. However DZ teach is what people should stick with. At my DZ they simply hammer into every head "LOOK, GRAB, PULL" - "LOOK. GRAB, PULL"

This system doesn't have a collins lanyard right? Even when using a skhook, a rsl is still necessary to open the reserve compartment?
