Package Delivery Driver Gone Wrong FAIL | WATCH TO END

A delivery driver for some packages I ordered was caught on my security cam yesterday afternoon destroying my entire Halloween display and smashing many hours worth of carved pumpkins.

I work for Amazon as a DSP, and I can tell you for sure that this is fake. No question about it. 1 - Branding. His shirt he's wearing and the van he's driving has no Amazon logo, branding or any basic Amazon QR codes on the side of it. All Amazon DSP's (Delivery Service Partners) are required to have that on an Amazon van. 2 - The inside of the van. Every day you have what's called a 'tote' which is 15-20 small envelopes / plastic bags to handle smaller packages. They are color coded and are about 2.5 feet long and 3 feet tall. Usually on a normal route you would have 7-9 of these totes. I see none inside the van, or stacked ones not being used. Not only are there no totes, but there are no shelves inside to hold them. If you drove out to a house in the middle of the desert just to deliver 3 packages, that seems a bit suspicious. 3 - His general reaction to falling down and reacting to the little camera on the door seems a bit off....... like he knew what he was going to have to destroy all the decorations outside or something. Also the fact that he does not say a word while rampaging is totally far fetched, espically after he realized the camera was there and STILL continued to smashl. Just my 2 cents.

Points 1 & 2 are irrelevant. Most Amazon DSPs use rental or unbranded vans. In fact newer DSPs have to use them until they secure enough routes from Amazon that Amazon gives them some branded vans. As far as totes are concerned, there's no way to know that he doesn't have them without seeing the inside of the van. If he's working out of his last tote you probably won't see any totes as they're probably laying in the back of the van. As far as the shirt goes again it's irrelevant as many drivers don't wear it, myself included. I hate those shirts especially when it's hot so if I have to wear it it's only until I get to my first stop then I take it off and deliver in my beater. Your last point has some merit, but it's not like I haven't felt like that when I delivered and ish went south like this guy. I've fallen in unmarked holes (just happened to me 2 weeks ago), tripped over stuff while delivering heavy oversized packages, etc. Dudes' reaction is extreme IMO but not so much that I have to suspend disbelief to entertain that this could have actually happened. All of this to say the video might be fake, but not for the reasons you're giving.

Plus, there shouldn't have been anything on the steps /stairs to begin with. I say this coming from myself, which have previously delt with anger issues and rage like this and still to this day have to keep myself in check, we all have issues of some kind so I say this without being judgemental but the worst thing to do in this situation is let the guy off easy, it sucks but if he gets fired he has a chance to get himself figured out to a point next time something like this happens he will think of this situation. He actually tripped cause of himself, carrying a stack of boxes and not looking at the ground. Also he tries to get the camera off the wall, if he would have he may would have figured all evidence is gone and not left any money or anything. It's not okay because it costs gas and time to buy those and time to set them up, more if you carved them. Then you have to clean it up and have to buy new decorations for the halloween night which costs more gas and money and time. Its a dangerous hazard to place objects on your step. Placing the pumpkin on the step is a negligent safety hazard. Also laying that wooden beam directly across the path in front of the walkway is another safety violation. That is a trip hazard, a trap, that eventually will cause someone to trip and fall- especially when you must traverse over the trip hazard from a gravel on sand surface which is unstable to begin with.
