Key point here is Weeks 10-18. Love did not look like a franchise guy until week 10. If I'm the Packers I don't extend him yet and get another full season of data before locking yourself into a long term, lucrative deal. Jordan love had a decent half season and people want to pay him. Tua has a much bigger sample size better production but no playoff win and nobody wants to pay him (me included). You can’t pay either of these guys top 10 qb money and expect to win

Her not being on the team is a blessing. She gets to rest a full 4 weeks (at least) now. I would think she comes back this late summer and is a much fresher and better player. Indiana will be sure to make the playoffs and possibly win a first round series. That would be remarkable.

Bo knows that Love should be paid. Im not a Packer fan but theyre great at identifying QB talent abd they should lock him up to a big contract so they can have another 15 years of elite QB play, which would mean that GB could have 40+ consecutive years of elite/above average QB play. If you got the QB, eveything else will fall into place if you know what youre doing. I hate that GB has been so fortunate with identifying great QBs but good for them. Its an impressive run.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am monumentally sick of these pundits using about half their air time discussing player salaries. All are in favor of EVERY player getting "paid", way beyond what they are worth. This dialogue is pushing the salaries to a level that is unsustainable. Sixty Million for Prescott is idiotic, but many that have preceded him are vastly overpaid. We, the fans, ultimately pay for it, and the average family can no longer afford to go to the games, and the owners greed is manifest in their constantly going after revenue streams that force the fans to pay through the nose. There needs to be a rebellion amongst the fanbases until they get this under control. The media loves it because it gives them a year round talking point for, at least, all the star's salaries.

Let him sit. Love is not worth the money yet. He underthrows his receivers just as often as he hits them. Remember, Brian Gutekunst wasted the last two years of a Hall of Famer's career to draft this guy, and for all of his time in the league, he's played well for 1/2 of a season. Unfortunately, the Packers will pay him, and the team will begin their 40-year march through the wilderness.

I would offer Jordan Love $150 for 3yrs, $120 guaranteed, or $50 for 1yr, fully guaranteed, with the caveat that if he does well, a $265 million for 5yrs, with $200 guaranteed is coming down the pipeline. Folks should want to see him do it one more season before paying him like a top five QB.
