I was in Bogota during the 2018 world cup and got into a few conversations with locals about football. When they heard I was Irish, Jack Charlton's name would come up - he was the man they remembered about Ireland's world cup in 1990.

Watch P Bonner stepping onto a supporters' bus outside Parkhead in the 80s in a documentary. It was from Donegal - the day before or the day itself of a cup final. Showed the way players were different then and the class of the man. He said his mum would have killed him if he hadn't said hello to them all. I'm a Rangers fan. The guy is an absolute gent. Love him.
