I think I missed how long you plan on being here, but it's not going to be that cold now through next week. You might be packing way too much in anticipation of weather more blustery and cold typical between January - March. 54 degrees F this Saturday. When you moved your things from the smaller suitcase to the bigger one, it made me think of Mr. Bean (the episode where he cuts up his trousers into shorts trying to pack his suitcase). ;D Have you considered trying out packing cubes? I think Amazon have some good transparent ones that could make packing easier. I didn't know how to dress for the cold (I live in a tropical country, lowest temp 9 degrees Celsius), so I really am thankful for this video Josie. I love your ice-cream jumper! I have noticed that the exchange rate is almost equal between the US & UK right now, yet an item will actually cost TWICE as much in the US as it does in the UK in the same store! Girl if you and your fiance are looking for healthy/decadent places to eat there is a ~Paleo/vegan place called Hu kitchen around 14th street/union square station ~and a plant based restaurant called Double zero downtown that offers gluten free crust (one must request at extra charge) and nut based cheeses on their pizzas. Both places are bomb but that being said -like Black Friday- a plan is a visitor's best friend in New York City. Enjoy yourselves.

I am new to the concept of Vlogmas. I have to say that this is the best one I have seen from the various KZbinrs that I follow. I like that you did a styling component when you packed. I am not a huge fan of just following someone around as they make their meals, visiting relatives etc. I watch KZbin influencers for the style content. As for the Reiss coat, I would say not to keep it. I like the other one that you bought better in terms of style. Safe travels in NYC.

Josie, I fall more and more in love with your content EVERY time you post a video!! I really like the fact that you try to balance all of the consumerism that comes with your job vs. the environmentalist in you! Now, whenever I think about making a purchase, I always look to see if there's a more environmentally friendly way to accomplish my objective. My most recent purchase are some adorable dryer balls that look like sheep (and are made from recycled wool) that are meant to be used instead of throw-away dryer sheets. My question to you (and anyone in comments) is this: I live in America. If I went to a coffee shop (or a restaurant) with a reusable coffee cup, are they going to fill it? Or are they going to be like "eww, gross...germs! We can't possibly do that!" Has anyone tried? I'm guessing if any business might be on board with the reusable thing it's Starbucks, but has anyone had any experiences elsewhere? I feel like since half our our country doesn't even "believe" in global warming, the reception to the whole "reduce, reuse, recycle" thing is going to be less positive among business owners here. I welcome any and all input on this. :)
