PADDLE BOARDING | MISSION BAY SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA

It is a different kind of adventure today! I wasn't actually planning on going out but I had to get something from Mexico. I have not crossed the boarder from Arizona so I went to Tijuana. As soon as I got the stuff I needed I went to Rosarito, because I know that place has amazing Mexican food everywhere! It took me about two hours at the line to get back to USA but it was all worth it to experience a different culture even just for a day. I stayed at Mission Bay for the night and rented a paddle board the next day before heading back to Arizona.

I am so jealous! 🤣🤣 it looks like an amazing paddle board spot 😱🤩 So far, I have taken my paddle board into Arizona Lakes, mostly. I would recommend you paddle board into Antelope Canyon from Lake Powell and then hike the canyon, it’s an incredible adventure 🤘😎

I've heard that it is a wonderful place to paddle and hike! Hopefully I am able to get an inflatable one and take it everywhere this summer!

@@sunkissedmary it’s amazing! I go there at least once a year and it always looks a little different than the previous time I’ve been there. I have the Costco boards, they are pretty good and comes with an electric air pump 👍 If you go into Antelope from the lake wear sturdy water shoes or hiking sandals and expect to get dirty, dusty, wet, muddy depending on what the weather has been like recently

@@sunkissedmaryhappy to report that the water levels at Lake Powell are raising, so, you won’t have to do any acrobatics to get your board down to the water. I did Antelope Canyon via Lake Powell on Monday, July 3rd and it was incredible as always 🤩😍😎🤘 Went with a couple of friends and we paddled in, then we hiked it for what felt like 4 miles in. As we were paddling in I was like “omg, I HIKED this section last September 😱”
