The LaFerrari is faster than the Huayra at many tracks, in some of them much faster, like 5 seconds faster on a 1min 20s lap. This BC model is probably evenly matched. But the Ferrari is much cheaper, which is something you don't hear very often.

I went to the Lake Mirror Classic Car Show a few weekends ago and there was a Mercedes Gullwing, many Lamborghinis, classics of all generations, etc and also a Pagani Huayra. The Huayra was my highlight of the show by a good margin and of the hundreds of classics and exotics there, the only one with a rope barrier placed around it. It was presented completely opened up like you showed and it was absolutely awesome to see It was definitely the highlight of my week, and I regularly brought it up when possible. It seems it was the highlight of a lot of people as it kept a LARGE crowd throughout the whole show

Pagani is one of the few super/hypercar manufacturers, I have huge amounts of respect for, the man just seems so humble and down to earth. To me a ferrari or a lambo have just become common cars at this point, Pagani and Koenigsegg on the other hand are what real supercars are supposed to be. Their cars seem to be one of the few that still have that raw, pure and visceral feel to them. I say all this knowing I will most likely, never be able to afford one or drive them, in my lifetime and I am Incredibly impressed by these cars as a car guy.

I was at Tapico Lodge at the Tail of the Dragon last Fall and there was literally a Huayra BC cruise that decided to stop in on the lodge's lot. Roughly a DOZEN of them, just taking a break. I can attest to the car's magnet appeal: the few dozen of us around at the lodge flocked out and got to be in the presence of such artwork. The owners were really nice allowing me to get up close with the exterior, engine bay, interior - in that brief 10-15 minutes, the Huayra BC became my all-time dream car.
