Bruh I never noticed until I was an adult but the professor was 100% in the right she gives paige an extension, gives her real advice, then paige cheats you can see the disappointment on her face and only gives paige a 0. Paige is lucky she did not get reported

Every time I see the cheer team in those shorts, I get SO annoyed. Firstly, the color looks off to me, I don’t think they match. And secondly, they said they want them so they could move more, but cheer skirts don’t prevent you from cheering at all, that’s the point

Freshman year of college was ironically my best year of college. My junior and senior year were the worst (granted, my senior year ended in a pandemic lol) but some of those grades Paige was getting... yup... I was even thinking about taking my junior fall off. Paige's storyline was very relatable.

I think seasons 5-9 are rly rough, partly because they just tried to introduce new characters while also following the old characters. so it doesn't feel like the old characters even know who the new characters are. following 2 totally different storylines. very disjointed. and degrassi rly lost the plot. it was always supposed to follow highschoolers and their issues and how they grow up and mature into adults thru the series. there are def some bangers from those seasons tho. like Darcy's assault in S7, Jane's plot with her pedo dad in S8, the season 5 episode when Ellie throws a drumstick at Manny, S7 spinners cancer, and um well ok I guess that's it

I think season 5 and 6 just felt rushed they needed 3 or 4 more episodes especially season 5. In season 6 they wasted so much plot time on the Peter and Darcy relationship. Season 7 is more fun than drama outside for Darcy storyline of course. Season 8 and 9 felt like degrassi season 1 and 2 none of the 2 part episodes in season 8 hit for me but the episode when Jane joins the football team may be my favorite episode of all time with just how unique the story is.

I recently rewatched degrassi season 10 the first half 10 is so much fun. 11-14 it becomes a teen soap opera like 90210 where ever storyline is about a relationship. And 1 couple I got annoyed with quickly and didn’t age well is Eli and Clare that relationship is so toxic I forgot how much times they break up. They are so dishonest with each other I think they spent more episodes of should we get together and back together then they were actually together. I did forget when he called Clare a whore haha I hollered

I think u made good points about Emma being a terrible friend to Manny but her stuff in episode 13 is the combination of Lakehurst coming into Degrassi at an event weeks after JT is stabbed by one of their own, Emma worried about losing Manny as a confidant, a bit of PTSD and the biggie: HER GUILT IN HAVING JT DIE STEPS FROM HER HOUSE AT AN EVENT THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!!! Also, I think Emma was trying to get back her old self that she lost after Rick put the gun to her, realized no one liked it and decided to be more of a friend and GF to be normal... DIDNT WORK OUT
