When you are losing weight, tracking your calories and protein only is fine. You’ll have to adjust that calorie range down as you get further to your goal. The other macros don’t matter as much when you are eating in a deficit or are in maintenance. If you ever decide to lift heavy and follow a traditional strength training program (I highly recommend this for many reasons- strength, bone health, increased mobility as you age, better quality of life, aesthetics) you will need to look at fat and carbs as well when doing a calorie surplus. Doing this may seem scary at first if you have never done it, but it’s totally worth it.

I so resonate with eating at home to better loose and maintain goals. Everytime I travel i feel so restricted cause I can only trust what I put in my food. Congrats on your progress you seem to have a really good mindset and awareness of your goals

I’m on a weightloss journey I’m down 10 months in January. I’ve been giving myself 2 pieces of the mini chocolates every evening and it helps so much. I’ll even have a couple pieces of candies that are low in calories a few days a week

Be patient. You are co by well. As a lifetime dieter please be good to yourself when you hit a plateau. When this happens and it will, drink extra water. Great job!!!

Eating the same foods can definitely help lose weight because your body gets used to breaking those types of food down if you throw something different in the mix it might be harder and take longer for your body to digest it

They sell a bigger package of the chomps at Costco. Our family buys them because the larger ones have 10g of protein in the stick. It's a go to for us. Also, fairlife makes protein shakes in chocolate and vanilla that we also enjoy.

I would get the fair life protein shakes from Sam’s club when I was pregnant and had like 2 a day sometimes. I had gestational diabetes and having a protein shake before carbs helped so much lol
