The more I see of this system both on the bench and on here the more impressed I am. 'Our' installation also came out with all the controls reversed but though a few heads were scratched this video came out on the same day and no-one stressed too much. Getting a "level" was more difficult with a tail dragger but an adjustable mount solved that quickly. Getting the mechanical settings right first is crucial and one of the reasons this installation is going into a well-tested and flown plane rather than a new build (that will come later). Thanks for all you videos so far and looking forward to the flights

Thanks for the excellent video, I am looking for a second FC after watching and comparing capability and prices I think I will stick with the Pixhawk or clone for winged aircraft my setup needs 7 channels for flight controls.

Great video thanks. I was wondering are you going to touch on how to monitor two batteries on board. I plan on running a separate battery for other things such as beacons and accessories, I was wondering how to monitor both batteries through the OSD...

I can power the servos by plugging an external UBEC into any of the unused connector pins on the servo rail, right? This is different than plugging a UBEC into the RSSI/5V/Backup connection?

Would you mind doing an update on this with a Crossfire and a vector??? It's very hard to find the proper way to set it up and I know many are struggling with this. The GPS connection and link quality are my problems. If possible both nano and full-size diversity receivers would be appreciated!!!

You install it the same as any other receiver with an Sbus connection.. There have been issues in the past with incompatible sbus implementations on both causing Failsafe but I've not heard of that since TBS changed their Sbus... If you mean that recent changes with the vector bus being able to be plugged into the Crossfire I2C pins then I'm planning a video.. Happy flying!

I'm using an R9, There's no RSSI input on it. How do you connect the RSSI from this receiver to the Vector?

Why can't you mount the Vector upside down? I do it all the time with the EAGLE TREE Guardian.

hi Lee... i had an issue today when i put it into 2d+hold it pitched up violenty. flying in default "gyro stab" mode it flew fine. any ideas ?

Without log-files and such, not really. I'd drop a line to the Eagletree boys and put that log-file from the flight safe as they can use it to have a look at what went wrong.. I'd be interested in what it turns out to be..

i have, i have changed a few things which i wasn't sure about... rtfm what's that lol.... I have to reset max distance etc, i didnt realise the field i had was bigger than 500 feet long lol

You're comparing a 'free' piece of open source tech with a closed source, relatively expensive one so it's not a level playing field. Depends on what you're looking for and how much you want to spend really... I've been very impressed with the Vector and the team behind it, so far so good! :D

I'd contact the vendor for some help as it's not tricky to setup once you've got it wired correctly..

I plugged everything and my servos doesn't have to much distance travel and my elevator only move up and beraly move down. Help me please

What kind of details will help to understand, I have a spectrum receiver, the vector.... The problem is with my servos travel distance, is to short, for sample elevator move up but minimum movement for down move, already center my servos on neutral.

You’re not telling me the mode the Vector is in, if you’ve changed any of the end travel adjustment on the radio..,lots of other things. My best advice is have a watch of the vector series. All I know is in there. Best of luck!
