Oh hey! For some reason my notifications were not working for the last few months - but now they are :) If they get the Bardic seal of approval, then I'm happy with them too! Old School... Nice those are great miniatures for showing basic / beginning techniques.

Yeah I was pretty happy when I saw them :) There's so little to them - great for a new painter to practice on. Most miniatures take me days to paint - these took a couple hours!

Received Hero Quest for my 10th birthday, I'm now 33. Still only painted half the minis. One day I'll finish, maybe then i can move onto painting Battle Masters. Great video. I like going old school every now and then.

I hear ya :) When my buddy found his game a few months ago, it still had our old character sheets from the 1990s :) Sadly, my handwriting looks exactly the same...

Yeah it was a lot of fun. We painted for hours - Adam didn't "seem" bored :) haha

Props for him keeping his mistakes for later reflection - it's really fun to go back and look at old paintings :D Great tutorial btw. I have a Rust and Dry Rust Vallejo effect paint. The Rust paint is very orange but I haven't used the Dry Rust yet.

The King of Average I've been meaning to get more rust effect colors. You'll have to do a vid using yours so we can compare!

For sure! I'll need to sneak in the dry rust at some point. There's actually probably a whole new game coming soon to the channel that I can fit it into actually so that's perfect! I'll do a callout when I do :D I used the regular rust on the Super Mutant from Fallout.

Show us some pics when you us it! It makes a pretty cool effect. (use the mournfang brown with it - WarhammerTV doesn't do that, but they should have ;)

that brush you were using to pain the flagstone lines was awful. Get yourself a sharp pointed Windsor & Newton series 7 and be amazed.

Yes it IS a crappy brush :) I have some Windor & Newton brushes, but I save them for smaller details. For larger surfaces I use a plastic brush that usually costs about 80 cents (and yeah, it sucks pretty bad!)
