Yes, this is how I imagine the world under the sea. What I want to appear when I scuba dive or snorkel. I create environments in my mind and paint them. 🌊🪼🐟

I'm only about a 3rd of the way through, but I already stopped long enough to order the paint set: I love the colors and the design & look forward to adding this to my sketchbook. Question: how might I make this a bit more masculine design? These are the fave colors of a close friend, but I'm not sure the flowery look is something he would appreciate. Would you suggest geometric patterns, Zentangles, just different doodling? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. I know design is gender neutral, but .... :-) I subbed & look fwd to more.

Hi there! Thank you for watching. As far as the masculine design, maybe a zentangle pattern on top of the watercolor. I have a video coming out in the next few weeks where I will teach how to do a specific zentangle pattern and a followup video will show how to place that on top of watercolor and then doodle inside the zentangle pattern. Maybe that video will be of interest for what you are looking for.

Beautiful. I tried to follow along but my Posca pen work faded to light gray. Any tips to keep it white?

@@sharonmiddlehurst6389 hi there! Posca pens do thst. Sometimes if I want the white brighter, I’ll go back over it. Hope that helps.

Make sure the watercolor is BONE DRY before doing the pen work. And don’t overwork the pen in any one area at once. If you need to go over something, let it dry first.

Yes, Sorry about that. I didn't realize how bad it was. I am in a new studio. I moved my desk to a not so sunny window to fix that. My studio is full of light and I now can only film after 12 when the sun isn't beaming right in the windows.
