how do you know where to have the darker shades and lighter shades? i mean its super natural, its like it pops out of your mind or something? so how do you know which part to 'press' harder and more gentle?

@@dish_81 Pin point where your lightning is coming or even better look at an actual tree outside or a photo of it and see where the ligjt and dark parts are. As the tree is closer to the ground it's darker and at the top it's light.

thanks for this tutorial. I have the Luna Aquarelle pencils too and really messed up a fall foilage tree in my Romantic Country colouring book. Do you start with small round circles with the pencil. Are you doing little dots with the wet brush? I put the video in HD and slowed it down to 0.25. Starting to see your method.
