Hey Tim, I’m a young tier here but I have been watching your videos for years. They are phenomenal. Do you think you could do a video on proportions and measuring including what is meant by hook shank vs hook vs hook gap vs bend etc and tips on how to estimate these lengths. I think I pretty well know them but realized the other day no one had explicitly taught me. Thanks for the awesome content!

Saw you and To. Rosenbauer use this technique tying a green bomber-style fly during your tie-off. I've seen it before from Tom and have used it when I need to protect or isolate materials. Thanks for the One Minute Tying Tips.

Excellent idea Tim! Will have to try that for controlling the marabou tails/wings that always get in the way when tying the eyes on Booby flies! The blue tape I have is much more sticky than the lower tack green so I'll try the green first. Cheers!

Top coat from Sally Hansens works great to bond turkey tail fibers. Coat underside wait 5 min and it bends in the direction you need for trimming those V-cut wing cases on stones. Also use it on pheasant tail fibers for antennae.
