Great tutorial! Watched the 7 hour one and really learned a lot! For a person fairly new to acrylics it was very helpful along with a few other tutorials on Patreon channel. My only critique would be name the photographer from wildlife reference photos, if possible, couldn’t find the exact photo so that was frustrating, and in the 7 hour voice over would love to know the ‘colors’ you are painting in real time. I struggle with finding the right color, so explaining which colors you mixed to create the color you are using would be very helpful for beginners. Thanks so much for making these and sharing them, really do appreciate your amazing talent! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much! I will do! I have started to add the photos directly onto the patreon files so they are easier to download. Ive also bought a new camera so I’ve started to add a palette cam so that everyone can see exactly what’s happening with colour mixing a bit more clearly. I’m constantly trying to improve so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Really glad you’re finding the tutorials helpful!

I like this tutorial. I am a miniature painter and sometimes i do commissions for friends. Well got on now a Games Workshop Knight. Basically i was asked if i could paint a bear smoking a pipe on one of the shoulder pads, and this tutorial has helped alot in painting that bear. Sure i had to look up the equivalent of the name of the paints used and find a vellejo game color match. But after that this tutorial helped ALOT in painting the bear. Though i do have a question, do you use blue instead different shades of black because it looks more realistic or just because you prefer using blue??

What acrylic colors do I need for a dark brown bear
@StudioWildlife2 жыл бұрын
I would say, black, raw umber, burnt umber, burnt sienna and yellow ochre, with some blue, red and white for things like shadows and facial features where necessary
