Fantastic tutorial, think ill tackle something similar next. Just started painting again and im getting bogged down with detail and trying to match the colours exactly. Definitely need to learn to loosen up and be more expressive and just enjoy the experience up putting paint to canvas. I really do enjoy watching you paint but some constructive criticism, no offence intended, you have a tree overhanging the water but no reflection, also you have the light coming from the left and you have highlighted the trees on the left hand side but the reflection of the small tree in the water is coming towards you. As I said no offence intended but the things I mentioned really stood out to me. Many thanks for you time and effort on these videos as always. Stay safe. Regards.

No worries Kilo... i am not offended in any way... im glad you mentioned it... one thing to remember is that light does not influence the direction of a reflection... it doesent matter which direction the light is coming from , a reflection will always point towards you wherever you are standing.. as we are looking at the tree straight ahead the reflection will always be vertical in the water... If you check out the reference photo you will see exactly what i mean.... reflections will always be a mirror image and fall downwards.. i hope that makes sense... i will do a tutorial on reflections soon..
