Painting Infinity Ariadna - Sci fi Desert style

Hello my friends and welcome back to my humble and happy little painting channel. In this video I am re-visiting one of my very first videos and painting a desert style sci fi inspired camouflage pattern on my Ariadna force for the infinity board game. I really love painting desert camo as it's a relatively easy way to make your models really pop and look great on the tabletop.

My friend and me decided to go half each on the code one box set and then we made a choice on what army we would like each. I really liked the stealthy play style of the Ariadna guys. We only played one game so far trying to learn the rules and the game is really great. It has a lot of simple rules and it played really fast too. We are hoping to play more in the future and maybe even do a battle report or two when we get used to it all. That would be an interesting and different video for the channel too.

Thank you so much. I am very happy you enjoyed this video. I really love painting different camo types and have a couple of videos on different colours of camo on here too. One of my very first videos was a dessert camo type for a space marine and it seemed to be quite a popular choice of colour palette. Different and unique camo patterns like these are great for really capturing a theme for your army. I saw my set as a desert strike force type of theme and it seems to suit them a lot. Hi Dan, I like the idea of a futuristic character in a camo scheme. The contrast is wonderful and fun to look at. The Khaki tones are a fantastic combo. The overall looks seems a little dark but, I figure futuristic, sci-fi fighters are a little grimy. The model at the end with the 'ski' mask is fantastic. I really like that one!! And the girl posed with her leg bent is, well, shall we say 'sexy'. The time you take to share the actual painting is very rewarding and inspirational. To see the particular brush handling and the strokes says to me, " Hell, if this guy can do it ...." This mini looks a little tricky for me to attempt. I say this because all the materials are artificial and man-made. The suit material, the chest plates, boots and the helmet are all foreign surfaces for me. Your treatment of these materials is very meticulous and honors the respective textures. Once again - a great video and learning experience for me. This is such a lovely break down of the painting in this one and I really appreciate the effort you have taken to watch enjoy and of course write to me about it too.
