painting the Grill

on this episode I have painted the grill I started with the inner plastics in a satin black and the outer part and Nissan badge gloss black I had a few runs in the gloss and it just didn't look that good so I sanded it back and redid it in satin black as well and I am happy with the result there are some little touch up's to be done on the parts that were chromed but I think this is going to be the case when painting chrome

Did you sand the chrome before priming? Looking to do this but have no idea the step bu step

Yes I did clean sanded primed then top coat I didn't use any clear as wanted the matt finish
