Oh my GAWD... I cannot believe how excited I am to do this and finish it. I am excited all the time over this stuff. The past year has been the best year of my life due to the joy this hobby brings.

Yeah I love this. At first I was like I dont need to learn how to paint Daredevil but damn!! I learned how to paint the exact colour of bricks I've wanted for ages for my spider-man and I also now gave to do Daredevil cos that red you used for his suit was just perfect. Would you mind telling me, you did airbrush the red on didnt you?

YES! FOUND IT! I have to do this with the DD/Kingpin diorama now. Question... do I need to scale either DD up or down to get the scale to match like you did? My Hulk base is about done. Then I have a 1/4 scale Arkham Batman/Batgirl I want to do by Sanix. Then the DD splurge. Maybe Killing Joke first. That is an awesome Joker sculpt. I am so addicted to printing and painting. We create the kind of stuff people pay BIG $$ for!

@@TheCreativeCollector thanks for replying to me. In your video you say you used a burnt red. I looked at vallejo burnt red but it looked very brown. Could just be the bottle looking that way... I just have to find a good red for Daredevil
@DUSKtillDAN666 Жыл бұрын
@@TheCreativeCollector I just watched the video again and you used fire red on the bricks. I'm after thr burnt red you used on the Daredevil figure itself. If you do happen to remember exactly what brand and name of red and you could tell me I'd really appreciate it. Would love to see a resin comparison video or the resin you love the most. I recently started to use SUNLU resin and it’s ok quality but at 18 bucks a 1k bottle it’s a fantastic value
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
I've used Sunlu and it's a very good resin. I mainly use the Elegoo standard grey resin.
@Abraksas1122 жыл бұрын
how's the smell on that? And are you using the standard or one of the others? I switched from standard Anycubic to plant based because the smell was too much for my small apartment. Was eyeballing the Sunlu ABS like resin since I heard good things about it but I'm afaid the smell will be too much.
@TheCreativeCollector2 жыл бұрын
Honestly I really dont have an issue with the resin smell as much as I do with the alcohol smell. I have a couple of air purifiers to help with it.
@tsundokus2 жыл бұрын
@@Abraksas112 its pretty stinky but i have my printer in my garage. now if you want one that had almost no smell the elgoo resin v2 i could bearly smell it and i had it going in a small room all day.

how do you avoid brush strokes??? do you thin your paint? or is there a secret you can share.... great job by the way!!
@TheCreativeCollector Жыл бұрын
Yes I do! Once you understand how the paint you use breaks down it gets much easier. But I like to paint in several layers on larger parts.

A litle bit late. But, the Daredevil fully painted looks amazing. Seems you aren't printing anything below 1/4 scale, since you bought the Linant 🤣. I wanna print so bad, but my Saturn S is currently at support. Cuz not even a month since I bought it and had lot of print fails. Just a week, to start printing 🙌🏻.

How do you know if you are at 1/4 scale? Is there a way to calculate that? My prints are starting to look all chaotic. IIt makes displaying interesting but I prefer to have mostly the same scale. 1/6 and 1/8 is for sissies. Lol! Jkjk.
