Great video! Interesting to see the different papers. I haven’t used the sprays because they provide such heavy coverage. Thanks for sharing techniques that remove my buyer’s remorse. 🌞

Nice reminder of a technique, thank you so much. I can’t wait to see your Halloween project. The only thing I remember and I don’t know that you wanted to do it here was with this technique using of using sprays , if you want them to travel a little bit you can spray water over them or put some water down first before you spray them and they’ll blend for you a little more. You ultimately blended them nicely with the baby wipes, just something I recalled that might be of use. Great job.

Thanks Colleen, I am glad you liked it! Thanks for the reminder if that tip, I did use a bit a bit of water on one of them but I could have definitely used more! thanks for watching! 💖

It’s a new technique to me. Working with stencils and with Gelli printing both are new to me. I really enjoyed your video. I love what you created! I also love how you use up everything with the extra roll off paper, and the mop ups. Sometimes when creating I like some of the “extras” just as much as the originally intended piece. I really appreciated that you did it all in real time and explained everything so well. Thanks so much for sharing! 1) Can you, or anyone, tell me what the difference is between Tim Holtz Distress Mica Spray Stain vs Distress Spritz? 2) What was the orange or gold paint you used on your gel plate? It looked like maybe it had shimmer of its own.

@@catb737 Thanks for watching! I am glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I like to use up all the product if I can and the extras can be very fun. I believe the first “orange” paint i used was the Orange Flash by Folk art which is a Color shifting paint. The Distress Mica spray stains are very similar to the Distress satins but they have mica added which gives them a shimmer. I hope these answers make sense.

Awesome, I am very interested in experimenting with this technique eventually. As I have seen, importing the plates, roller (brayer), and inks will turn too pricey for me; I will have to create almost everything handmade. I have been checking tutorials to make everything from a scratch, except for the roller, so I might give it a go at the end of September as I will be almost done with my first language course ( I am the teacher, so grading lots of things is exponential when the course is about to finish). Thanks for the video.

I totally understand that importing internationally is difficult. It sounds like you are going to use some wonderful ingenuity Chris and I wish you well on your creative journey. Have you checked Amazon.com.mx -> I noticed that they do have a brayer there but I wasn’t sure what currency it was listed in. (That was the only item I looked at) Thanks for watching 💙
