I had the pleasure of hanging out with Bobby at the Long Island Rock Rehearsal rooms in Massapeaqua NY over many years .He was a lovely guy and was always very encouraging about my drumming. he gave a a set of Paiste Signature Hi Hats as a gift which i still use today many thousand of gigs later. Great video and fantastic playing - This guys totally explains the relationship between creating a good volume balance between cymbals and kit. I have a set of giant beat and 2002's for exactly the same reason to achieve the perfect "match" in terms of volume. I simply love my giant beats

Ted! Yes, that's a kit that Paiste made with a lot of their artist broken cymbals, they melted and made the alloy to build all the shells and hardware on that drum set. It's beautiful!
