👍👍👍👍 finally this is how you find the chords on the guitar. You sir are the only person that I no of that and I’ve seen that actually have a lesson on were the notes are on the guitar. This should be a game changer for a lot of people who want to increase their knowledge of guitar and become better musicians!

Hey Larry, I'm happy that you enjoyed the video. Did you use a method similar to this to memorize the fretboard or did something entirely different work for you?

Fret 10 Don't Get Caught Fighting After Dark, 8 Chicken Fried B E Good Chicken. B E are flat like b means flat. I got those or something where I just phonetically sound out the letters (5 AD-G-CEA) for open through 12. However that is just a stop gap because its not really functional. There is an Italian guy with a crazy long ZZ Top beard on KZbin whose method I'm using that goes one note at a time frets 1-12 and it uses a metronome in its second phase to add an element of speed. Yours is a bit like it but I am open to hybrid approaches. His would probably take me significantly longer than 30 days but I am a few weeks into it and I have A and F down, working on D.
