No Pakistani while admitting that Pakistan has been outperformed by India can resist saying that India is still nowhere near China or Europe in development and Pervez Hoodbhoy is no exception. I'm sure Britishers would just love it.

Good talk, as always.. But the problem is that very few Pakistanis watch Dr Saab.. The overwhelming majority of the people who watch are Indians...

48:00 Perhaps because very few Pakistani youngsters watch intellectually stimulating programs online? Pakistan is often mentioned as a nation with one of the highest consumption of online porn. So that could perhaps support my earlier assumption? Big fan of The Black Hole, btw. Love from Belgium 🙏

IISC and TIFR were established by TATAs. In Establishment of the first IIT, Kharagpur, Nehru didn't play any role.

This was a great and insightful lecture professor. I look for your videos simply because of the knowledge that you share, doesnt matter to which country you belong to. One comment on your fact that 2 muslims graduated from Calcutta Univ. while there were several Hindus graduated from the first batch in 1850s. This is still similar in Indian top universities. So there are many things same across countries when it comes to education of muslims.

At the time of Alberuni idea of nationality and ethnic identity was not clearly defined. He called all residents of India HINDI! Ofcourse there were lots of ethnic and religious groups in India! Alberuni was highly educated sophisticated man of his time! He found rank and file Hindi lacking manners!
