Mahrang Baloch is an activist using social media to highlight the issue of enforced disappearances in Pakistan. In 2011, her father was abducted and his mutilated body returned. Six years later, her brother was kidnapped, so she turned to Twitter and Facebook to speak out. Ethnic Baloch people have been disappearing for two decades, activists say this happens after calling for social justice or independence.

Dear Mahrang Baloch, as a Pakistani who loves his country and people I support your principled stance on forced disappearances and other grievances in Balochistan. Pakistani authorities must safely return all held people to their loved ones or present evidence against them and charge them with a crime in a court of law. But please don't compare the situation in Balochistan to Occupied Palestine. Balochistan is a part of the sovereign state of Pakistan and isn't "occupied" territory like East Jerusalem, Gaza or West Bank or even Indian Occupied Kashmir where the atrocities are far more egregious. Outside of that, it's shameful and pathetic that Pakistan's authorities have yet to address the issues our dear brothers and sisters face in Balochistan. We must take care of our largest and least populated province of Balochistan. Each corner of Pakistan is precious and so is each Pakistani life.

I understand the freedom of critics but as a guy who's born in Quetta, i can confirm these guys from the so called "missing persons list" usually end up being found affiliated with terrorist groups like BLA,BRA etc. I remember my friend telling me how their neighbor was found guilty to have links with the BLA and was informing them about school teachers who educated the kids of the rural sides of Balochistan (especially the geography teachers ) sad thing is that the bla would torture and ki!! them brutally even though they were Baloch. But i won't be like those Nationalist Indians who deny something which is literally happening infront of them, yes since nothing is perfect there are cases of innocent people who end up getting misunderstood for separatists. It's really sad for me to see my country and especially my birth place in conflict, but the Security forces are doing their best to control the situation and i salute to them. Long live Pakistan and Balochistan the jewel province of Pakistan 🇵🇰♥️🇵🇰♥️🇵🇰

As a Pakistani i feel horrible that the poor innocent civilians r suffering like this, i hope justice is served and those responsible should b held accountable..........while on the other hand theres a different aspect of this all. Since the insurgency in balochistan Pak Army has number of almost 5000 casualities there.With losses like these and weak judicial system military uses its own tactics .Not saying its the right way but the fact the militants are supported and directly funded and trained by indian RAW and now former NDS of Afghanistan make things even worse .Indians former military and intelligence chief dont even deny this they openly sit and brag about how they r funding terrorism in balochistan on live tv shows,absolutely disgusting.Wherever there is war, there are atrocities .These innocent people who are suffering are not only because military is using extra judicial method ,its also because of the fact the foreign intelligence games are being played in our backyard which i am sure no country rather Pakistan or india and afghanistan would want.I applaud the fact the vice is raising the voices of these innocent people but it should also be mentioned what is causing all this chaos in Balochistan,is it just the Pakistani military or because they have no choice but to go after the nexus of foreign intelligence agencies? in the process i am afraid and saddened to say innocent people like the ones in the video suffer!
