It's been a while. I am returning to what I enjoy doing the most: Education videos with fun topics to get you off and running with all things Fuji, photography, and filmmaking! 👍 Expect more of these, like I used to do when I first started the channel.

I've been using X-tn since the beginning, even doing a little pro work with it. I'm embarrassed to say that you are still uncovering the mysteries of this system. You are one of the best at doing these explainer videos. I'm teaching someone else (who is using my old X-T1 cameras) and will have them watch a few of these. THANKS!

Chris, I have been a Fuji user for over 5 years. Your videos consistently and reliably supplement my understanding of these cameras in a systematic and fun way. No sooner do I “think” I have them figured out - you come along with valuable new information. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you ! Best Allan Roza

As always, very informative and entertaining. Your channel is top notch for Fuji-X information. My beef with the exposure compensation dial on the XT-5 is that there is no lock button like on the shutter speed and ISO dials. There have been several times when I've bumped the exposure compensation dial and shot for a while without realizing it. This usually happens when I'm outside in bright sunlight and can't see the indicators in the viewfinder or screen very well. My workaround is to leave it on C, since that takes considerably more "oomph" to move than leaving it on 0 (zero). P.S. As a lifelong dog owner (or owned by dog?) I know the sheer grief of losing a beloved canine, I feel for you and your family. My counsel: get another dog, quick!

Thanks, Chris. Having gone to aperture-priority mode recently, it was annoying to take my eye off a subject to twiddle with the exp.comp dial. This shortcut to quicker front compensation will make picture-taking more intuitive. Bless you, buddy!

Hi Chris. Thank you for all the hard work that you do with respect to your efforts in making & sharing your videos. I was aware of the exposure compensation dial setting & being able to expand the setting from 3 to 5 stops when placing this dial in the “C” position. I used this on my XT-3 for many years. The tip for being able to also set up the exposure compensation setting across the bottom of the EVF was greatly appreciated. My ageing eyes thank you profusely.😊

I’ve been using it for years. But your comment about setting aperture and shutter speed manually, and iso to A, was really helpful…and probably a little better that Auto-iso, where you are more unsure about what you end up with. With our new noise reduction tools, Iso is no longer my primary concern. Shutter speed and aperture now are most important. Thank you!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I just received my xt5 and I found your setup video so helpful. I am a full-frame Canon shooter by trade. Fuji is all new to me, but I am super excited and just this video alone on the exposure dial and setting it to the front dial is more like a canon feel to me! Thank you for this. I know photography, but it's all new learning a new camera.

This is where Nikon is outstanding. Back in the days of film, I had a Nikon F5 loaded with slide film. I pointed it at a bride's white dress and using TTL Auto flash took a photo with zero compensation. The results were perfect. I then took a black leather raincoat with black gloves laid on top and took another flash auto shot. Again, perfect results. I wish that my Fuji cameras could do that!

Thanks Chris. Would you consider making a video on how to replicate on the X-T5 the settings for scene positions, such as portrait, sunset, snow, fireworks, flower, etc which you find with cameras having a PASM dial or full auto like the X-T30? It would make life so much easier. Keep up the great work
