Careful those moccasins can be very aggressive. I was exploring a creek and one chased me for about 100ft and I had nothing to defend myself with. I've been told they do that but would have never believed it if it hadn't happened. Search4

I’m 58, and a retired Army Paratrooper. I devoted most of life to the military, doing cool military things....... but.... I happened to come across your channel, and I am so ‘ENVIOUS’ of you two!! You are both young, in the prime of your lives, and you have the great gift of knowledge about this world’s past and recognize the signs and clues of those ‘days gone by’. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone. I would like to give you both the best gift I can bestow upon you from someone who is fast becoming a old fossil themselves......my gratitude, and a bit of my personal lifes’ history....Thank you!! Thank you!! for making me feel young again. Me and my wife, when we were about your age, some 40 years ago, (which is a long time if you actually think about it), were just as enthusiastic as you two are now... we panned for GOLD all over the USA, and parts of the world. It was some of the best times of our lives. She passed away 4 years ago, (DONT be sad, she lived a great life), and watching you two makes me very ...’Happy’ inside. I really love your adventures and your shared adventures. Thank you! SUB’d to your channel, you two have been adopted, your great kids!!😇👍

I’m an old dude that grew up on the St. John’s river east of Jacksonville, and every time there was any dredging in the river by anyone we would go there and find megalodon teeth and arrowheads and even a few human teeth. It was some of the most exciting time of my life! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the ways or the brains to go looking for smaller streams like you guys explore. Do wish we had! We used to go to Itchatucknee to go tubing and snorkeling, and the water clarity makes me regret that I never explored more Springs and the feeder creeks. Watching you. two get almost orgasmic over finding an arrowhead or a nice tooth brings back amazing memories and really relates to the video watcher. How exciting what you’re doing really is! Keep it up and stay safe! And thanks for sharing your great adventures!

You give me hope and excitement to hurry and get this done! I really enjoy this video and I appreciated it more than most probably because days like that are so far and in between but when they happen it’s just something words can’t really describe it’s more like a series of holding your breathe and extended exhales and stuttering and smiling and laughing nearly to the point of ridiculousness but you don’t care as long as your with someone that enjoys it like you do and looks like you both do so that’s just awesome! Even more awesome you were able to capture the moment and share it brother that’s amazing for you both and everyone who subscribed and hit that like button apparently!!! I know I did!

I just wanted to say how much I love this channel, as I have only just discovered it!! I have been making and selling wire and hemp wrapped stones, minerals, shells, fossils, shark teeth, non-Indigenous Arrowheads, and semiprecious stones for a few years now, and I will be looking up your website soon. This is such a positive and fascinating channel, a refreshing change from all the mud-slinging videos I've seen. My father actually got me interested in stones at a young age, though it wouldn't become a larger part of my consciousness until I was in my late 40's. Looking forward to more of your videos!!

I'm not a herpetologist or anything, but I'm about 95% certain that WAS a cottonmouth. Glad you steered clear; they can aggressively "chase" you if they feel threatened. Very beneficial sneks, for sure, but we gotta give 'em a wide berth.

The first snake was a cottonmouth, I couldn't see the other well enough to tell but it looked like it. It could be a banded water snake. Be careful. Thanks for not hurting them. Edit, the fossils are cool but the stone points are amazing. Awesome. I'm a native Florida man and never found one, but I never really looked either. I wonder if the indigenous used shark teeth for points? They have a good shape.
