Palestinians supported Saddam because he was against Israel and supported Palestinian Liberation. Thats about as deep as it goes. They dont support him because he killed Kurds. Kurds were best friends with USA when they were killing Iraqis and Afghans. Doesn't mean I dislike Kurds as an Afghan.

@@robinisi3354 A Muslim aught to not do that but people aren't perfect. Just as Kurds were willing to help the Americans who are almost like an Evil Empire for their own interests Palestinians did the same with Iraq when every other country sold them out to be colonized by Israel. How could Kurds help a country that killed 1000,000 Iraqis, helped Indonesian Genocide, Vietnam War, War in Afghanistan and supported Saddam (lol). The answer is simple, people will do things in politics for their own interests and desperate people like Kurds or Palestinians will take any help they can get.

@Mohammad Farhad do you have a source for palestinian aid in Anfal campaign? Id like to read more about that. I also didnt ask "why" literally but i asked "how" rhetorically. Should i say kurds supported Communist invasion of Afghanistan where millions if people were killed and displaced because lots of kurdish groups espoused socialism/communism in the past? Or would you rightfully say of course not and that things are more complicated.

As a Kurd who’s parents and grandparents went through years of surviving a genocide from the Saddam Era, it breaks my heart to see how misinformed people are about my people and my country as well as just the pure lack of awareness for my people. Also, I don’t understand how someone in the same position as Kurds would not support Kurdish independence but still wishes for a Palestinian independence. Ignorance and hypocrisy at it’s finest. On another note, thank you for creating this video and bringing more awareness to my people

We Kurds have a saying “we love Palestine more than Palestinians” it’s because of our grandfather Saladin Ayyubi that opened it, it seems like those people forget who we are and i really feel shattered. You know what? i will always support Palestinian freedom and independence even if they don’t support us at all. I’m happy that there are some Palestinians that they do support us and to me that’s the positivity i will focus on. Love and respect to the people of Palestine and forever!!!

Brother the fall of Turkey is just beginning. The euro is at 11 Lira Fast. This is pure humiliation. From this you can see how powerful ISRAEL / USA etc. are. They did that with just one push of a button. If you want to bring down a country, start with your economy. If the economy is not right over time, people will split up. Then there will be a civil war like Syria in 2011. And in a civil war it is very easy to take territory and control. That is why the YpG has 33.33% of Syrian land under its control in Syria. They have conquered 1/3 of the country. And then the same would happen in Turkey. Although it would be easier in Turkey, because almost 50% Kurds live there in the country, military, shops, banks. So my answer to whether Turkey will fall one day? YES to 400%. If the Ottoman Empire fell, which spanned 3 continents, then so did this little piece of Turkey. The Kurds are braver, braver, more humane, and do not make military propaganda videos in empty villages and shoot in the air and pretend they are in war! The KURDEN fight. They quickly conquer lands. If the Kurds are given bigger weapons, they will conquer every single square meter I'm too sure of that. I also think that Rojava will take important steps towards independence in the near future. According to unofficial information, the YPG has retrofitted again properly when it comes to weapons. In the American Parliament the proposal is made to issue visas for the USA to YPG members and thus to invite YPG officials in America to meetings. 90% of these applications are approved. The Americans were also in METINA, AVASHIN and ZAP and were able to establish 11 indications for the use of chemical weapons used by the Turkish occupation. These are war crimes and could soon cause serious problems for Turkey at the international level (expulsion from NATO). The Turks are currently suffering great military losses there as well. There have been violent arguments for 4 weeks. Rivers in the areas are also contaminated with poison by the Turks. The mountains and fields are set on fire. The residents in the villages are being terrorized. That is clearly a fight against the Kurdish identity. And then brain-blown Kurds come and interfere in the conflict in Israel, even though the serious crimes are being committed in Rojava. It is only a matter of time before the Kurds will wake up at some point. It may be a long time before then, but at some point you will understand what was downfall for you in history and strive for a better life. They will no longer be the slaves of the Turks, Persians and Arabs. That's what your father says too. And I agree with that. The Kurds' undoing was the brotherhood of the peoples, the Ummat el Islamiyah and the ideological political war between the parties. This will be over at some point. If I were to intuitively point to the future ... I would say that no one can stop ROJAVA. You have relations with states, you have gun violence. Your enemies (Turkey, Syria) are greatly inferior to the friends of ROJAVA (USA, France). Turkey is the West’s runaway boy. The chances look very good. We may just have to be patient

They say "I don't know" because they don't want to give an answer. Even most of the Kurds in Turkey do not want independence. because if they become independent they will be socioeconomically far worse off than they are now. Turkish Kurdistan is very mountainous and continental. suitable for neither agriculture nor animal husbandry. There are no precious metals and no oil. There is not much industry because transportation is difficult due to mountanious terrain. Also, half of the Kurdish population now lives in the western provinces, and mixed marriages with Turks are common.

I support independance itself, so it means to be against both invasions and against supporting terror on the other side, so I disagree with your position for the same reason why Palestinians who are against your independance are wrong. You should support unity of oppressed against Palestinian fascists.

A comment from Turkey 🇹🇷 🇵🇸 Palestinians should be independence. Because israel identifies himself as a country that was established in 1948, and this imaginary country was established on blood and tear. Collapsed houses, dead children, jailed fathers, tearful mothers and occupied lands. If there is a cruelty in a place, the sultanete of cruels will not be long. Palestinians are not terrorist, they are honorable people who resist with just stones in their hands to tanks. They want their lands. They don't want to be guest in their motherland, they don't subcontract for other countries, they stand upright for their rights. Israel can have dominant position since 1948, but it is not long period, and it doesn't mean that their cruel domination will not finished one day. Kurds should not be independent. Because the lands in Turkey that Kurds claim right are the part of various Turkish Empires since 1071, and Turks didn't come to Anatolia with blood and tear like Israelies. The fact that the first Kurdish riots occured 800 years later than the arrivel of the Turks is most powerful evidence for that, and these riots were in the same time with other nations' riots. Nations in Ottoman Empire wanted to be independet because of the starting of nationalist idea, and incentives of Englishes. One of these nations was Kurds. But Kurds could not reach their purpose unlike other nations, because rebels were small group among Kurds. The majority of Kurds did not want be leave from Ottoman Empire. Rebels stayed silence bery long time, and they have break their silence in 1974. In 1974, pkk terror organization has established. The founder of pkk (abdullah öcalan) tricked young Kurds with dream of kurdistan. But it was not the purpose of abdullah öcalan. He was only a pawn who is controlled by usa and israelies. It is not my opinion. He admitted it in 1999 when he was caught by Turkish government. Also, he offered to be a subcontractor for Turkish Government. You can find his interrogation even in youtube. In short, pkk/pyd (terror organizations) became the most beloved terror organization after israel government by usa. usa sent numerous weapons to these terror organizations, and provided so much money. These terror organizations and Kurd youth are only a pawn for the dream of big israel. They just wage war to ease israeli's occupations in the future. That is why there are american and zionists' flags in every their protests and battlefronts. That is why usa support these terrorist groups in Syria. To link up between Palestinians and Kurds is really weird. Because Palestinians make war against zionists. Zionists support pkk/pyd to reach their goals (greater middle east initiative) that is why these western countries compete to help pkk among themselves. Other than what i write above, i want to say that i don't mention about all Kurds, and i stated that these traitors are only minority in Kurds. Greetings to Kurds who live under the crescent and star. Under the this flag, each of us are brothers and sisters. Also, greetings to Palestinians who resist to cruels. You should walk upright everytime. Because you are the followers of Allah's truths. You can have a small piece of stone, but if you have unshakable faith in your heart, nobody can defeat you.

@M Z Anatolia's being a part of Turkey doesn't mean that Anatolia is Turkish. Turkey is not only the country of Turks. Also it was like that in Ottoman Empire and Seljuks. When we conquered Istanbul, castle's doors were opened to Fatih Sultan Mehmed. In these times, kingdoms were looting wherever they conquered therefore the society of Istanbul waited a behaviour like that, and some clergies go down on one's knees to. Fatih Sultan Mehmet looked at the people and he said that "Stand up and be of at ease. I am Sultan Mehmed and i say, since now, your freedom, your lifes and your properties are in my responsibilty...". Also, still there are copies of his rescript in museums. Ottoman Empire had huge effect on Balkans, but look at the Balkans, majority of Balkan societies are Christian still, and they are not Turk. If we came here with innocents' bloods and tears, whole Balkans must be muslim and Turk now. Because they were managed hundreds of years by Ottoman Empire. What about Kurds? They have managed by Turks almost one thousand years. But still they are not Turk and they were not assimilated? Also, i wonder that where are you from?

@M Z Wars are the first rule of human history. Nobody can not deny that. Anatolia has really beautiful history, and it does the honours to numerous civilizations through years. Before Greeks, Assyrians and Armenians; There were many civilizations in Anatolia. But this doesn't mean that they ruled these lands with blood and tears like israelians, englishes, portugeses or spainishes. You know that, and you shouldn't make a fool of yourself. When i said that, i wanted to say that Turks did not ruling these lands with injustice. Of course, we didn't come to Anatolia from sky like Syrians and Greeks. We made war to find a home like every nation. But we did not behave like occupant nations. If you have opponent arguments to my opinions. Please share these informations with me in a realistic and historical way with the name of situation or time.

Interesting how the Palestinians are called violent and terrorists by so many Israelis when asked about them having their own state or independence. When I heard the Palestinian man say that about Kurds I was shocked, if anyone would understand being an oppressed minority group and fighting back against those who you believe are doing the oppressing, i thought it would be Palestinians.

If we are thinking about the same person in the video I do not think he is discounting racism or oppression. I think he is merely saying that if such a thing were to happen then 3 countries would lose their international borders. That is a bad thing. A Muslim world that is United is better than one that is not my friend. In order for Kurdistan to exist as a nation 3 nations (Syria, Iraq and Turkey) would have to be restricted. This is impractical. Islam says do not divide yourselves. My family is from Pakistan. We have Balochistan Provence who are culturally close to the Balochistan Iran people, we have people in KPK Provence that are close to Afghanistan ethnically and culturally , we also have Punjab in Pakistan that is similar to Punjab in India. Sindh Provence is full of Urdu speaking people. All different racially, but United together as a single country called Pakistan. Pakistan acknowledges that every Provence will have culture that is more similar to the surrounding nation adjacent to that border. But we remain United under one policy. When the war was going on in Afghanistan many Afghani civilians were and to this day still do go to live a better life in Pakistan. In Pakistan we have women that wear hijab and we also have women that wear jeans and T-shirts. Women go to school and can vote. Our Former PM was a woman. Please do not let these stupid propaganda people spread hate. I have tremendous respect for the Kurdish people and recognize that they have a distinct culture from that of Turkey, Syria and Iraq as a whole. Their voices should definitely be heard and Kurds should be involved in the leadership positions in their respective country in order for their culture to also be represented in the larger picture which is the future of the country. The reason it is unfair to compare Kurdish independence to that of Palestinian independence is because in Turkey and Iraq the Kurds do not lose their homes for settlements for expats, unlike in Israel. In Turkey Kurds are allowed to practice their faith without restriction because it is the same faith as all 3 of the countries mentioned. In Israel if a woman wants to wear a headscarf the Israeli media will paint her to be hardcore Muslim or a potential threat… Muslim men and women have to go through various checkpoints in their own country in Palestine. Please do not compare the two. Very different circumstances

@@billa6735 you realize the current borders of these counties you talk about were created by the Christian West lol. These are man made borders, not borders made by god. If that is your logic then why have any borders at all between the Muslim countries? Not all Kurds are Muslim and not all middle easterners are Muslim. Kurds have been oppressed, killed, imprisoned and tortured for holding on to their ethnic identity. It became LEGAL to speak kurdish and to simply acknowledge the Kurdish identity in Turkey in the 90’s. Kurdish language STILL not allowed to be taught in Turkey and Iran and many traditional kurdish names are not allowed to be registered. Iran declared a holy war on Kurds after the revolution and killed 10,000 Kurds. Iraq committed genocide on the Kurds with a gas bomb and killed 5000 Kurds INSTANTLY and 5000 more died slowly after. Syria did not allow Kurds to own land and also denied the kurdish identity. I can go on and on. This is not Islam. This is evil. You think the two can’t be compared because in the case of Palestinians they are oppressed for their religion? Israel believes being Jewish is an ethnicity as well as a practiced religion btw. would you say you are Afghan if Europe and American made new borders for you tomorrow? Would you accept losing your ethnic identity to another Muslim country and assimilate? To a country that doesn’t want you but wants your land?

But why other arabs? Also those Palestinians who support Saddam, they are hypocrites and they really should be ashamed. Its a shame that these adults only think about themself, i bet they dont even know kurdish history, kurds support Palestine, but they dont support us, and people are suprised when a kurd is saying "then i dont support them either". Did they forgot what Salahdin Ayoubi did for them (a muslim kurdish leader). The worst part was "kurds like war'', kurds are known for wanting freedom, kurds are pure people. Unfortanelly Turkey is brainwashing alot of people, how do kurds love wars? What a hypocrite, not even a bit emphatie for all those people that died in Kurdistan. @@ophiuchussign659 Kurds Have as Much as Claim on the Lands they live on as Assyrians,Armenians,Turks,Arabs etc. Many people Wrote about Kurds such as Syriacs,Persians,Armenians and even Sumerians :: "The land of Karda" is mentioned on a Sumerian clay tablet dated to the 3rd millennium BC. This land was inhabited by "the people of Su" who dwelt in the southern regions of Lake Van; The philological connection between "Kurd" and "Karda" is uncertain but the relationship is considered possible. Other Sumerian clay tablets referred to the people, who lived in the land of Karda, as the Qarduchi (Karduchi, Karduchoi) and the Qurti. The Kurdish people are believed to be of heterogeneous origins, both from Iranian-speaking and non-Iranian peoples. combining a number of earlier tribal or ethnic groups including Lullubi, Guti, Cyrtians, Carduchi. The Medes : Russian historian and linguist Vladimir Minorsky suggested that the Medes, who widely inhabited the land where currently the Kurds form a majority, might have been forefathers of the modern Kurds. He also states that the Medes who invaded the region in the eighth century BC, linguistically resembled the Kurds. Armenian author Hethum: "Postea vero Sarraceni amiserunt dominium Egipti et Medi, qui Cordins vulgariter dicembantur; regni Egipti dominium occupaverunt." “In the end the Arabs lost their rule over Egypt, and the Medians, who were called Kurds. They ruled Egypt.” - approxemate translation. Besides that Kurdish is among the languages that derived from the Northwestern branch of the Iranian languages, ergo Median. I am not saying that the Medians are only the ancestors of the Kurds, but they are definetly one of following. It's not correct to say that "Kurds descend from the Medes" as the nationalistic claim goes, but it's also not correct to say that they do not. There were a large number of Iranian dialects spoken by people living in what is today Kurdistan according to a pastoral lifestyle; some of these people would certainly have been related to Median tribes. If you still think that Kurds aren't related to Medes,Then I Shall Remind you that in iraqi Kurdistan the name Dyako still lives on among Kurds. Dyako or Deioces is the Founder of Median Dynasty. Parthian Empire : also known as the Arsacid Empire, was a major Iranian political and cultural power in ancient Iran. Its latter name comes from Arsaces I who, as leader of the Parni tribe, founded it in the mid-3rd century BC when he conquered the region of Parthia in Iran's northeast, then a satrapy (province) under Andragoras, in rebellion against the Seleucid Empire. Mithridates I (r. c. 171-132 BC) greatly expanded the empire by seizing Media and Mesopotamia from the Seleucids. At its height, the Parthian Empire stretched from the northern reaches of the Euphrates, in what is now central-eastern Turkey, to eastern Iran. The empire, located on the Silk Road trade route between the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean Basin and the Han dynasty of China, became a center of trade and commerce. to Quote An User : Gernot Windfuhr, professor of Iranian Studies, identified the Kurdish Language as Parthian Albeit with Media Substratum. David Neil MacKenzie, , an authority on the Kurdish language, said Kurdish was closer to Persian and questioned the “traditional” view holding that Kurdish, because of its differences from Persian, should be regarded a northwestern Iranian Language. qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-adf63492edc52a2d2b787c4e1e563c04 Mittani : While the Mitanni kings were supposedly Indo-Aryan, they used the language of the local people, which was at that time a non-Indo-European language, Hurrian. Now,There is Definitely a Connection between Kurds and Mittani,Why you ask? Well,The Capital of Mittani,Wassukani,Is Identical to the Kurdish Word ""Bashikani"" Which means Good Source. www.heritageinstitute.com/zoroastrianism/ranghaya/mitanni.htm Yazidi Kurds : are an endogamous and mostly Kurmanji-speaking group,Indigenous to Iraq, Syria, and Turkey. The majority of Yazidis remaining in the Middle East today live in Iraq, primarily in the Nineveh and Dohuk governorates. Yazidism is a syncretic, monotheistic religion practiced by the Yazidis, an ethnoreligious group which resides primarily in northern Iraq, northern Syria, and southeastern Turkey. Yazidism is considered by its adherents to be the oldest religion in the world and the first truly monotheistic faith. The Yazidi calendar states that the religion, as well as the universe, is almost 7,000 years old, which is 5,000 years older than the Gregorian Calendar and 1,000 years older than the Jewish calendar. Yazidism has had a rich history of syncretic development. For thousands of years, Yazidism incorporated elements of Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism, Gnosticism, Christianity, and Islam, all of which coalesced from 1162 CE to the 15th century CE. Ultimately, this process created Yazidi culture and ethnic identity. Modern-day Assyrians and Yazidis from Northern Iraq may have a stronger genetic continuity with the original Mesopotamian people. The northern Iraqi Assyrian (Syriacs) and Yazidi populations were found in the middle of a genetic continuum between the Near East and Southeastern Europe. So,We Have An Ethnic Group that's Close to Kurds and Most identify as Kurds But also Share a very Strong Genetic continuity With the Original Mesopotamian People,This is Enough to prove that Kurds have as much as Rights on the lands they live on. If you say that Kurds do not deserve to live on these Lands because they're not native to it then that also applies to Americans/Arabs/Turks And Pretty much all of the world. Anyways,Kurds Did Massacre Assyrians Unfortunately but so did Other Arabian Countries,I'm not trying to say that Their Suffering must be hidden,However,Massacres Happen,It's Normal, and May I Ask,How many People did the Assyrians Massacred during their Rule? The Assyrians were known to be quite Brutal,Anyways,I support Assyrians getting a state for themselves,They can have Nineveh Governorate,This is not up to me though,They should Ask Iraq for it,Afterall,Iraq Controls Nineveh. You may say ""Why should they only get Nineveh and not the entire North Iraq?!"" Well then,First,The Assyrian Population is Not as Large as the Kurdish Population,Lets say they,For Example,They Take all of North iraq,Right? well then, they [Assyrians] will literally become Minority on their own Lands. Second,Assyria Started at Nineveh And Assur,So it'd be logical to let Assyrians Administrate Lands that they deem is theirs,I have no problem with that,However, what I do have problem with is that Assyrians claim other lands that they *Conquered* ,For example,Many Claim Erbil As theirs Despite the city being Originally Sumerian [people whose origin are unknown] and then Gutian,So why would they claim such thing? Well,Many claim they ruled it for a long time so time and Built stuff in there so That makes it theirs,That's Ridiculous, and you know it,It is like The Turks who Claim Constantinople as theirs Because they ""ruled for a long time And Built stuff in there"" can't you see how ridiculous that sounds? Besides,There is no way Any neighboring country Will give it's lands to a Barley existing population,Sad,But what could we do? Iran,Iraq,Syria,Turkey will invade Kurdistan the Moment they declare Independence,Now Imagine if Assyrians Declare independence, these countries will be more than happy to massacre them. Third,It'd be almost as Delusional as these Armenians who Claim South Turkey as theirs and Demanded it Back even though a F*ck-ton of Kurds lived there and the only way Armenians Will realistically Get their hands on South Turkey is By Genocding the Kurdish Population and Assimilating them.

As a Palestinian, I completely support the Kurdish fight for independence in their own areas. Unfortunately, most Palestinians (and people, in general) don't know much about them and their struggle and/or they've been exposed to state propaganda (especially Turkish today, but Iraqi and Syrian in the past, as well), so their answers are sometimes unfortunate. I wish people that were ignorant about certain topics, wouldn't speak about them-and that's true everywhere.
